Giftcard Zen

Couldn’t be a worse experience. Had to create several accounts with different emails and used two different credit cards. Never got the card I was trying to buy. Maybe they’re just data mining. But when a person with a 740 credit rating and credit cards with over $ 10,000 available credit on each can’t buy a $ 100 gift card well something is very wrong and fishy. Who takes three days to verify or decide to ship something… heck it was long enough for the charge to actually post to my credit card (that’s well beyond just authorization). So they charge your card, ask for a ton of info all before they approve the purchase and then once they have boatloads of personal info they deny the sale. Then made me jump through more hoops than I did to re-​fi my house… I’ll just stay away, that’s for sure.

their process is very painful, both when selling and buying. they need your full card numbers, pins, and everything else. in the end, they reject your sale. Then, your cards become emptied out… They would not say they did it…

Bought a Dunkin gift card value $ 50 for 38 bucks. What a great deal I thought. Card had 50 bucks on it when I got it. I used it 3 times in a week, purchases adding up to about 14 bucks.
On my 4^th visit, when paying my card read 0. I had to ask the clerk to try again because that was not right. Long story short, after calling customer service for the card, I found out that whomever purchased the card originally used a stolen credit card, so anything that was bought with that card was revoked. In a nut shell, my Dunkin card was shut down. I was steaming mad. After going back and forth so many times with GIft Card zen, I finally got a refund. Too much of a hassle and uncertainty.

At first it will look like a good idea, so I did buy a gift card for Lowes with 8.8% discount. I though it will be an easy process but at first I had to wait until the next BUSINESS day to get my order released and after a whole day they decided to cancel my order without any clear reason, and I am still waiting to get my money back.
I think this happen based on what store gift card you are trying to use, for me it was Lowes and it didn’t work.

Very slow payout for gift card sellers. Poor internal controls lead to uncertainty regarding payouts. while customer service is courteous they are either directly lying to the customer or are themselves given misinformation. Customer service is unable to accurately track what is going on with the order. I spoke to 3 different agents — all were very friendly — but they gave me very different answers about what was going on with my order.

I purchased a $ 100 gift card through Gift Card Zen for $ 80.81. A terrific deal! I was emailed my card number and PIN immediately. I was pretty excited, until I went to AMC’s website to verify the balance.
The balance was $ 0.
I sent an email to customer service requesting a refund within 15 minutes of making my purchase. I was a little worried seeing all the poor reviews of Gift Card Zen, and knowing that I purchased an electronic gift card I thought it would be difficult to get a refund. It was not difficult at all. Within an hour I had a very nice email from customer service saying my claim would be passed on to the Loss Prevention Team who would work on getting me a refund. The next day I received another email saying I was being issued a refund. The money was back in my account the next day.
I was disappointed my gift card deal was too good to be true, but I was very pleased with the customer service provided by Gift Card Zen. I will definitely continue to use them.

Twice I tried to purchase gift cards from Gift Card Zen. Twice the order goes through but then the next day I receive an email from GCZ saying the transaction was cancelled. The email goes on to say that I can call their Customer Service to ask why. So I called them to ask why and I was told that their security system cancelled the transaction and Customer Service has no more information. What kind of idiotic answer is that?! My security system informs me never to do business with these goofs.

I wanted a pair of shoes from Dicks Sporting Goods. I wasn’t in any sort of hurry. I googled promo codes. I was linked to Gift Card Zen’s web site. I was a little skeptical. I did some research and concluded it was legit. I ordered my card. It took a week. Probably would have been faster but I ordered right before memorial day weekend. Anyway, I saved $ 13 on the shoes and ended up getting free shipping (Not a benefit of giftcard zen). Cant beat that. $ 13 I can use towards some other stuff. The odd amounts threw me off a little, but that’s to cover your taxes. I ended up being like $.15 cents over so now my card has some change on it. Whatever, I still saved. Thanks! Dont know how they do this, but it works! You just cant be in a huge hurry to make your purchase.

This site has some serious kinks to work through. I bought 2 gift cards for the same merchant. 1 worked, 1 didn’t. I called their customer service number, and the person said they could look into it. I wanted to complete my order on the merchant’s website, so I asked if this was a common problem. They said no, so I bought another card for the same amount. It didn’t work either! So I had to call back and have them cancel that order too. They then verified a third card, and had me buy that one. Finally, that one worked. So now I have 2 cards that didn’t work that they are hopefully going to refund, or I will have to dispute with my credit card company.
Bottom line: you’re not going to save a ton of money using this site. In my experience, it wasn’t worth the headache. If they’re going to offer these cards online, they need to do a much better job of verifying that the cards they sell are valid.

i just bought more gift cards from giftcard zen and as usual, service, price and quality is simply GREAT… ;-)
— i bought some bed bath and beyond cards ! i knew i had to buy closet stuff and soda stream gas cartridge refills. why not save an additional 10% (or so… discount goes up and down… i wish it would just go uppp…) when i already use the 20% off coupons there?! these were physical cards — merchandise credits /​plastic cards that had to be mailed, but once mailed from arizona it only took a day to get to los angeles.
— i bought some lowes e-​gift cards. these, i could print out and in the store they just scan the bar code, or i could use them online and input the card and pin #. super super convenient, because i was buying on line.
— and i happened to be on the cole-​haan site, and they were having their semi-​annual 30% off *everything* sale. i think i have one formal /​real pair of shoes. like i have one suit (and yes… it does go to weddings and funerals!). but i knew i needed some grown-​up shoes for the times have to be out in public and not uncouth. i checked gcz, and they had e-​gift certificates at 13.5% off. SO… my total savings at cole haan was 43.5% off! this is a brand that is never on sale, except at the outlets which are few and hard to find.
if you want to save some money and add a bit more of a thrill to shopping and the hunt, you must come here. giftcard zen is a reliable, real and trustworthy place to to get discount cards. they are awesome… ;-)

I got the confirmation that my check for the gift card I sold them was mailed to me on January 23. They told me 7 – 10 business days. After ten business days I sent an email.

Yep. I responded saying, That’s it? They told me to check back in after it’s been 30 days. February 23^rd I got back in contact with them and was told I was reissued a new check. Today is March 6^th. Still no check.
