Way over priced for what little work they did.
Don’t understand why AAA recommends them. .. I sure don’t!

Holy Cow talk about over priced! My daughter is a student at NAU and she was stuck in Flagstaff with a dead car. They charged us $ 193.00 to test and replace the battery plus one battery cable that they broke when they replaced the battery! Save your money and do a little price shopping before you stop here. The people were nice and they offer free shuttle service so they gave her a ride to their shop from campus but those «free» services are not free when they rake you over the coals for the prices! If we were closer or more familiar with the area we could have gotten a battery at Walmart for $ 70.00!

Ran into some car trouble on the way to the Grand Canyon from California and was so lucky to find Heath’s. They were very professional and I was surprised by the level of service that we got in a small town (better than anything in the Bay Area). Would definitely recommend them.

I had an issue with something that was handled at Heaths and the owner got in touch with me personally. He more than made up for the problem. I think that this is one of the great things about mom and pop establishments. He really does care about the work being quality work. I am very impressed.

On the way to Albuquerque from Phoenix I had some car trouble east of Flagstaff. I stopped at two other service stations before I lucked out and found Heath’s. Meagan was friendly and professional and got me to the shop when my smart phone failed me. Jeff explained the problem and was so patient with all my questions. This was on a Friday morning and there was a possibility they wouldn’t be able to get the part in time to finish the repair that day, so it would have been sometime Monday until I could get my car back. That could have meant a hotel stay in Flagstaff or a huge hassle relying on friends to run me back and forth to Phoenix. Jeff patiently worked me through the possible scenarios, jumped on the part ordering, and they got me back on the road in the afternoon. As an out-​of-​towner, I really expected to be a lower priority than their local customers. But these guys work together and hustle so that everyone gets taken care of. I absolutely recommend them. (And guys… don’t be shy about talking technical with Megan. She knows her stuff.)

They lost the trust of a loyal customer. I’ve been going to Heath’s for the last couple years, but the last visit will be my last. I took my car in for a transmission fluid leak under the front bumper. They told me that I needed my radiator replaced and gave me a quote for almost $ 700. Given the price was about double what it had cost me to replace the radiator 6 months ago when I was on a road trip, I took my car elsewhere for a second estimate. It turns out that a fitting was loose, and the other place only charged me $ 4 for a fluid top-​off. Was Heath’s trying to scam me, or were they not competent enough to diagnose a simple problem? Either way, they will not get my business again.

Pulled in too far to a parking space and the lower cowl on my car broke loose. I was driving down interstate 40 and if I went over 60 miles per hour the cowl would start shaking. My GPS let me to Heath’s auto service nearby. The mechanic crawled under my car on a rainy day, got my cowl secured again, and got me back on the road in 10 minutes. He wouldn’t even accept any money! Good honest people, definitely give them a try.

Friendly professional service in a well-​equipped shop. Heath genuinely cares about his customers and about getting things done right at a fair price.
