This is probably my favorite breakfast diner in Arizona! The food is delicious, and the staff is so friendly! I brought my mom in for her birthday just to come eat here and they made sure to make her feel special! will be back every time I come into flagstaff! I love it!

There are two places for Mike & Rondas in Flagstaff. We ate at the bigger one. It is an extremely popular place — long lines. The food is cheap and plentiful, but unfortunately tastes cheap as well. I’ve had better food at Denny’s. We will probably not be coming back here.

We went on a Sunday morning with a large group: 6 adults and 4 kids. The restaurant was busy, but they were able to seat us pretty quickly. The service was friendly and attentive, and our coffee cups were kept full. The food was… fine. Not great, but good. Large portions. I might go back.

Undeniably the best breakfast joint in Flagstaff! Every experience here has been fantastic. I often order the biscuits and gravy but let me tell you, the biscuits are HUGE! Always plenty of delicious food given, friendly staff, and a great pick. It’s only open for breakfast and lunch but I often wish it was open for dinner so I could enjoy it at any time of day.

Huge portions, pretty good simple breakfast. The place is starting to look a little run down, i’d like to see some improvements due to the fact that the place is always busy.

This is a Flagstaff MUSTVISIT breakfast restaurant. Biscuits and Gravy are a family favorite here, and really anything off the menu will satisfy. PS: The coffee is pretty darn good for restaurant brew. You will certainly enjoy! Avoid a chain… you can visit Dennys or IHOP in some other city.

Parking: Ample private lot Service: 5⁄5 stars Cleanliness: 3⁄5 stars Ambiance: Kinda outdated & cluttery Wait time: Average Seating: Ample Food: 3⁄5 stars Price: $ The service here is perfect, I have no complaints. The food was inexpensive but not all that impressive. According to the people in my group, the pancakes are amazing, but that was about it. The bacon was too thick for everyone, and any potato product was under cooked or not what was expected. My omelet was over cooked, and hash browns were very under cooked. I did order some oatmeal for my 1 year old, and it was actually pretty good, but you don’t go to a restaurant for the oatmeal. Anyway, this restaurant seems extremely popular but the food just isn’t good enough to warrant a recommendation or second visit from me.

When there is a line outside the door and a 30 minute wait, you know this is the place to be! Besides the long wait, this restaurant has a such a quaint feel to it. The décor has all the kitschy things you would expect to find in grandmas attic. The seats are comfortable and the menu has your typical breakfast offerings. The prices are pretty great for the amount of food you receive. The biscuits and gravy are a must have. They are huge, so I suggest not ordering more than one. The chicken fried steak is perfect and definitely even better with some gravy. Like I said… the gravy is that good that it needs to go on everything! So overall… GRAVY!

The food always comes out cold, the service is the worst in town, and the actual restaurant is always so cold, you should expect to bring a coat with you. However, the prices are really cheap and the portions tend to be pretty large. It balances out to be the most mediocre restaurant in town if you are on a tight budget. Don’t go if you don’t have at least an hour to spare, though; you will likely be waiting for your waiter, food, and check for at least twenty minutes each.

I’m not sure how this place gets anything less than 5 stars. Sometimes the wait to get in can be a bit long, but it’s worth it. Food: excellent. Service: good. Portions: GIANT! I’ve been going here since my college days in the mid 90’s.

Found this by «drive by» last Saturday. This place is great. Service is fast and exceptionally fun. GRAND Canyon size portions of really good stuff. Biscuits and gravy … go ahead and TRY to eat em all. This place should be on triple D!

Never had a bad meal here. Helpings are large! The waitstaff and cooks are always nice and helpful! One pancake is enough to fill you up! Stay away from the corporate places and eat at THEPLACE!

Amazing grub. Took the family to flagstaff in May to see the sights and take a trip to the Grand Canyon. Glad we stopped by here to have breakfast, wish there was one by me in Orange County, CA. We will be back again and won’t be soon enough before we get back to THEPLACE!

I have been going here for breakfast for as long as I can remember. Going on trips through Flagstaff? Have to go to The Place for breakfast. The hash browns are fantastic. The servings are always gigantic. The service is always great and friendly. I’ve been going here for over a decade and nothing has changed. I highly recommend it.

I drove by this place and it had that«look” — unpretentious and popular. So when we had the chance to stop in, we did. And it was everything I assumed. They had biscuits that were size of small loaves. And the place was packed. The waitress even told us they were always busy. I don’t really eat carbs so I ordered a Cobb salad and it was plain Jane, typical of what I expected from a joint like this– iceberg lettuce with a few carrots and deli meat. My son had their chicken quesadilla– also hard to ruin. Nothing fancy, good solid hearty food. If you eat carbs, doesn’t matter what you order cause all the portions are huge. Big enough to feed 3 people!
