History
Established in 2000.
West of the Moon Gallery was created in 2000 by 2 artists trying to show their friend’s work as well as their own. The business commenced with 15 artists and has now grown to over 60. Location has recently changed in 2012 to the 14 N San Francisco St address. and our square footage has increased from under 300 to over 1400. A much larger space able to showcase much more local talent! Our mission is to keep art, especially local art, alive and help to make people realize how important the art & craft of something handmade can be and recognize that art doesn’t come from a factory.

I have been an artist for over 30 years and dabbled in many things. I was a hand weaver & dyer of yarns, worked in stained glass, batik and now most recently in jewelry and appliqué’ beadwork.
