My rating is a reflection of the office staff, not the doctors. I had a blood test drawn a couple weeks ago. The doctor said to call back if I didn’t get my results in 2 weeks. 2 weeks have gone by so I called the office. They told me they would notify the doctor and return my call. No response. I repeated calling their office and leaving a message three days in a row until I finally told them I was getting impatient and that nobody was getting back to me. They finally said the phlebotomist’s computer hasn’t been working and that’s why my results haven’t come in yet. How long has the phlebotomist’s computer been dysfunctional? I’m not impressed with the phlebotomist or the efficiency of the staff. The next time I get blood drawn will be from a different office. One that is efficient and has properly functioning equipment.

I started seeing Dr. Fretz almost 3 years ago and she really cares about her patients. She’s an awesome doctor who takes time to actually listen and explain things when you have questions. Because of this though she can get back up occasionally. My only beef with Flat Rock Physicians is the front office staff. They’ve put my wife and I on hold numerous times for well over 10 minutes. We’ve also run into a few problems booking an emergency appointment when we are sick even though Dr. Fretz tells us to ask the front desk to double book her when we do finally see her. If you can get past the front desk staff then you really will have a great doctor in the downriver area.

My doctor rocks! This place has 3 doctors, which includes a husband and wife. I have seen all three, my kids prefer Dr Chartier. She is always there for you, will take as much time as you need. She has seen me on emergencies, and the kids. She is funny, outgoing and very relaxed, she gets right down on the floor with the kids, and plays with them.
