History

Established in 1984.

I am a Board Certified Podiatrist with experience in the medical, surgical and orthopedic treatments of foot problems. The office relocated to 2075 Flatbush Avenue in 2010, after a fire destroyed the original location, just 2 blocks away.

Dr. Talia Shwer joined Dr. Carlton at Flatlands Foot Care in 2015 and took over the practice after his retirement.

Dr. Carlton is cool with me. I scheduled an appt the same day, went to the office on time, and actually was seen almost immediately! The office staff is very friendly and engaging and Dr Carlton is very open with communication and different options to help you with whatever your problem is.

I’ve been having a problem with my big toe and was in a lot of pain. I called Flatlands Footcare based on the review left on Unilocal… I spoke with a very nice lady that booked me with the earliest availability (1 week). She was so compassionate and asked if I could wait that long… I reluctantly said yes, but glad I did it!!! The office is small, but the warmth and friendliness of the staff makes it a great fit! Dr. Carlton is a very good doctor. I explained my issue and not only was he informative, he was friendly and remedied the pain instantly. What I especially appreciated during my visit with Dr. Carlton is that he explained the root of where the pain came from and why. That type of quality is not always provided with busy/​crowded offices. I’d recommend to everyone and will be going back.
