Welcome to The Hound Hut! Proudly serving Fletcher since 2008, we are a full service boarding, grooming, and daycare service for your pet.

At The Hound Hut, we believe animals are happiest and healthiest when they have the freedom to roam. Our open cage policy allows for maximum socialization and activity to keep all our animal guests happy! We keep the pets in groups during their time with us so they become socialized and comfortable with other animals. During their stay, your pets are free to play outside in our four spacious, enclosed lots. There is plenty of room to roam and play at The Hound Hut!

With a personnel ratio of 12:1, your pet will the the love and attention they deserve. Our enthusiastic, friendly staff all have behavior and medical experience with animals. Not to mention, we all love our jobs and our furry friends! The Hound Hut also features a full service grooming salon to pamper your pet with a relaxing day at the spa. Our daycare is offered to provide daily drop off care for your pet.

History

Established in 2008.

The Hound Hut originally began as a grooming business called Shampoodle and Setter. After a few years, owners Jim and Lora decided to move locations and open up a daycare and boarding facility that would serve as a one stop shop for all their customers. The Hound Hut has since expanded with larger outside lots and playground equipment, and the staff has increased with the growth of the day care. The rest, as they say, is history!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Lora was raised on a cattle and horse farm and has had animals her entire life. She began her career in the veterinary side of the animal care industry. Lora began grooming after she took a break to have her daughter, Annie. After a short time working in the grooming industry, she began to experience an increasing demand for overnight stays. This increase in demand led her and her husband and partner, Jim, to move their grooming business into a new facility that incorporated grooming with boarding and daycare, allowing them to meet all their clients needs in one place!
