Pamela Pitlanish has been providing Infant Mental Health parent-infant psychotherapy for over 20 years. During her graduate studies at Wayne State University she discovered the field of Infant Mental Health, and felt that this was where she could help the most: by preventing problems later in life through focusing on the critical period of birth to three. She later received a Graduate Certificate in Infant Mental Health from the Merrill-Palmer Institution in Detroit.
Degree, license and credentials:
MSW, Masters in Social Work
LMSW, Licensed Master Social Worker
ACSW, Academy of Certified Social Workers

Her experiences in non-profit mental health clinics over an extensive career have exposed her to very high-risk populations including families and individuals living in extreme poverty, and clients with severe and persistent mental health diagnoses such as bipolar and schizophrenia.
