Seemed dirty and uninhabited.

Aww, Hell no. This «grocery» store is beyond filthy. Dust on everything, poor stock, unorganized and messy. The staff is not pleasant, the store is in the hood and sketchy types hang around the parking lot. Save yourself the trouble, shop elsewhere, basically anywhere else and drive out to one of the grocery stores in one of the nicer areas around the city. No place for a lady!
