Specialties

Japanese Steakhouse with some of the finest hibachi chefs you will find. Looking for a place you and your young children will enjoy? This is it. We treat kids right, and they love not only the show but the food as well. On a budget? Our lunch menu is most affordable: same great food, just a shorter show. Two private dining rooms for groups from 10 – 40, perfect for meetings and parties. In December 2010, we added 4 additional hibachi tables in a private area which will accommodate up to 40 people or can be split into 2 rooms of 20. Each room features a 50″ television to watch your favorite sporting event or to display a presentation to your employees or colleagues. Watch for Sagano Express opening in early 2011 at our Flint location. Visit our Brighton location located at 316 W. Main St.

History

Established in 2003.

Sagano was opened in Flint Township, Mi by Mr. Inoue and his wife Sharon. The restaurant opened as a Japanese Bistro specializing in Sushi. It quickly became a staple in the community. Mr. Inoue is a sushi chef by trade and had always wanted to expand his horizons by opening a steakhouse. His dream was realized in December of 2005 when he opened his first steakhouse connected to the Sagano Bistro. Sagano has been wildly popular ever since and in December of 2010 four additional hibachi tables were added in a private dining area to handle the demand and decrease waiting times. In addition to the new private dining area an additional hibachi table was installed dedicated for take out orders and for sushi customers wanting to order from the hibachi menu. This allowed for quicker and more predictable take out order times allowing our take out business to expand considerably. Take out business has flourished and plans are under way to add a 2nd grill dedicated to take out orders.
