Fat Baby’s Cafe

We picked up lunch a few days ago. The burger and chili dogs with hot slaw were terrific! The fries were good too but i probably won’t order the onion rings again.
We will definitely go back to Fat Baby’s. The menu is limited but they do a great job on those few items. And the prices were reasonable. They have concerts and car ahows coming up that sound fun.

Went by today to try this place out. Several years ago it was Karen’s Country Kitchen I believe (not sure about the name) and it was pretty decent meat and 3. Now it’s Fat Baby’s. A really cool place it seems. Very open cool outdoor seating, allowing for larger groups and a wonderful lake view with Lookout Mountain in the background.
I arrived just after 12 for lunch. Not a lot of variety on the menu (which is perfectly fine, I knew I was not going to a Tapas). Grilled cheese, ham & cheese, hamburger, cheeseburger, fried bologna burger & chicken fingers were the main entrees. Fries, tots, & onion rings the sides.
I ordered the hamburger with tots & sweet tea. It took a little long to get I felt and when I opened the to go box, I felt that there should have been a few more tots, but oh well I thought.
The burger was great. A really good all around burger. The tots were a little underdone, but okay & the sweet tea was good. I will definitely be back as I saw that several customers were ordering what looked to be a great grilled cheese. I also saw on their Facebook page where they have specials each day that look interesting as well.
They also have great entertainment venues on special nights.
