It’s a mixed review here. Sometimes everything is amazing and other times it’s off. The lamb chops are always on point amazing! Everything else it depends. I’ve gotten some items completely burned and some undercooked. Best bet is lamb chops and paratha!

Traditional style pakistani food at it’s best in a quick take out spot atmosphere. You can also eat in if you’d like. One of the more authentic locations in the area that offers the real deal and not a watered down americanized version of middle eastern classics. A must try for those that like a great spicy meal. Perfect.

His food was good & prices were reasonable… a couple months ago. Then out of nowhere he skyrocketed all the prices on his dishes without any changes. Quantity is the same, actually even less. Nihari used to be $ 8.00, and now he raised it to $ 12! Kabab rolls went from $ 3.25 to $ 4.00. Which restaurant charges this much for these dishes? It’d be reasonable if he also increased the quantity or the quality. But nope, same exact dishes for a much higher price. This place is not even fancy, from the vomit colored walls to the tight & limited seating with the disposable dishes. I mean c’mon, you can’t afford some actual plates, silverware spoons and glasses? He’s definitely lost my business. Oh and please stop being cheap with the sauces when we spend so much money on the actual food. There are definitely much better Pakistani restaurants in Queens and LI.

Food is good but they need to hire a waiter. The woman handling everything answers the phone and doesn’t even come to take the order. Not even a pitcher of water(you have to get water from bottles yourself) I would say since the food is good to just get it as take out or have them deliver

I was introduced to this place by my best friend last summer and since then, this has been my go to spot for good, inexpensive Indian food. My boyfriend loves the food here too. We always order naan, chicken makhani, nihari, and lamb chops. Naans are soft and the chicken and lamb chops are seasoned well. I’ve had nihari for the first time here so I can’t compare it to any other niharis. Although, I noticed there was a lot of oil in it and it was a little fatty but maybe that’s how nihari is supposed to be. I’ve also ordered the chargas(whole chicken) before and my family loved it. Oh and the sauce that comes with the lamb chops is delicious. I can drink it on its own! The food isn’t out of this world amazing but it’s really good, especially for the price. Plus the portions are huge. I’ve never had a problem with the staff or the food so I’ll definitely keep coming back.

The food is absolutely delicious, but you MUST call at least 30 minutes ahead to place your order(for pickup). They are super busy with dine-in’s as well as pick-up’s. I recommend getting the kebabs and do not recommend the chicken tikka platter(it’s fine but just not as special as the kebabs). Would be interested in trying their curry.

I order from here frequently only because it’s close to my house. The chicken biryani is DELICIOUS. Everything else however is average and nothing special. They do not deliver which is a huge inconvenience.

Food is pretty good. Flavorful and delicious however service is disgusting… enough to make you not want to go back. The food is worth trying, however order out instead of dining in.

The gola kabob is soft, moist, and delicious. Get it with the lacha paratha for savory goodness. Their boneless chicken tikka, seekh kabobs, and tawa beef keema is also good. Sometimes it’s just better to get it to go as they are always busy!

Delicious food-bad service. We were greeted by a waiter as soon as we walked in. Cool. We were then seated and given menus. It was 5 of us but she handed us 4 menus and asked if we were okay with sharing them lol. Weird considering we were the only ones in the restaurant. 0_o We then decided to go for the Paaye, reshmi kebab, Beef behari kebab, mixed grilled platter and chilly chicken. We were waiting for the waitress to come take our order when we realized she was no where to be found. The owner(chubby guy) came out and just stared us down so my dad said we were ready. The owner responded in a loud and semi rude tone saying we had to come up to the counter and order. That’s a first. What’s the waitress for then? I walked up and placed my order. I got nehari instead of the paaye(Great decision) We got our food about 20 minutes later and thankfully it was worth it! The only food item we didn’t enjoy was the chilly chicken. I dunno how to describe it but it had an awkward flavor. Whatever. Everything else was really good. nehari was probably one of the best I’ve had. The behari kebab’s masala was really yummy. smokey and the meat had just the perfect amount of tenderness. Mixed grill platter was good too but it was a bit pricey in my opinion. For $ 17, they could’ve added more meat. Oh we also asked for sesame naans(till walay naan) and they said they don’t use sesame seeds on their naan 0_o I know it’s not a biggie but I LIKEMYSESAMENAANS. like, how hard is it to just slab some on? lol Icing on the cake: We had to clean up after ourselves. They didn’t ask us to, but since the waitress was no where to be found after our initial contact, a family that came after us cleaned up their table and left it spotless so we followed suit. Not sure if we had to but the owners just watched us clean and they didn’t ask us to leave it. LOL

I ordered a day in advance for biryani. Walked in and waited 40 min and still told me to wait. Walked out and ordered pizza instead. Do not place advance orders here because they will forget and could care less about the customer.

The service is enough to piss you off The lady is extremely rude and looks at you as if she’s going to tackle you The kebab rolls are great get it to go because they serve it in plastic plates anyways They charge for white sauce They will not bring you water pitcher or anything of the sort which is absurd because even restaurants in the projects serve water … They even charge for chutney Just get a kebab roll and go home trust me don’t deal with their bs

Passed this place last night and came here based on some Unilocal reviews. Glad I did. Service was weird. When asked what we wanted to drink they told us to go to the refrigerator and get what we wanted. So we got up got a lassi, the waitresses then took it and brought it to our table. With us walking back? Thought that was strange. They really tried so that’s all that matters. Food was great. Ordered the reeshmi kabob based on another review and boy am I glad I did. Delicious! And the biryani hit home with pakistani style chicken biryani. Didn’t expect it to be served in plastic plates and containers but whatever Will def be coming back here, maybe for take out though.

Went their late nite on a Saturday. The ambiance is very cozy. Their Reshmi Kabab are AH-MAZING!!!. They are not big on presentation tho, they just through the raw onions on top of the entrees. We also ordered Chapli Kabab, seekh Kabab, Chicken tikka with paratha(fried flatbread) and Naan. Everything else was ok, I’ve had better chicken tikka at other places. I would definitely go back for the RESHMIKABABS! Affordable prices. Seems like a very popular local spot, they were crazy busy even arnd 10pm. I would give them 3.5 stars.

Let me start by saying I have eaten here a couple time before but today was my last time ever! It was my wife’s special day so I decided to take her out and we decided to come here and not experiment. It turned out to be our last time. It seems to me that this place is run by a husband and wife team. People are right when they say that the woman by the counter has an attitude problem. We decided to order something different and ordered some Haleem, Behari Kabab, and some chicken gyro on paratha for our little one. In the past, we have usually order the chicken and/or beef gyro platters and they have tasted excellent. This time, the behari kabab looked like«PASANDAY» type of meat. It was undercooked and chewy. Not the behari kabab you would think of like getting at Kabab King or other decent place. The haleem was absolutely horrible with no taste of meat inside. I decided not to complain because that gets you nowhere in desi restaurants. All in all… it turned out to be not so special day for my wife. We paid the bill but vowed never to come back. I only go to this place cuz its near… but I’d rather go elsewhere for my tandoori needs.

Zero star Comes every second day, tried to pay cash but their problematic machine didn’t accept my cash note and the lady refused to accept it. How ridiculous just relying on machine only when you have brain to check it yourself that it’s 100% genuine. Had to pay through CC and they charge their merchant charges from you. What a shame 0 star
