My family won a gift certificate to Flashback Old Time Photo at the Triangle Lake Charter School auction in May 2015. We went to the coast in September and decided to use the certificate. The owner/​photographer, Connie, was so nice and accommodating, and the atmosphere at the shop was very relaxed. My husband is in a wheelchair, and Connie did a great job camouflaging it, so it didn’t stick out. We all had fun dressing up and picking out accessories and props. We chose a «wild west» theme and the photo turned out great. We’ll definitely be back to try another theme… I’m thinking Civil War soldiers and southern belles next time! Lots of fun! Highly recommend!

This place is fun! My seven friends and I did a silly Wild West photo to commemorate a week of vacation and this photo studio was the perfect place. We dressed as saloon girls, old-​time matrons, a sheriff and even an inconsistent but really cute 20’s flapper. The woman who helped us (the owner? I don’t know) showed us all the costume options, including boots and truly silly hats. We saw the photos first and could choose full color or historic-​type sepia. This is my favorite souvenir of a great trip. I recommend it to anyone who wants a non-​typical photo. The props suggest this would be good for families and kids too, although we were all grown-​up women — well, grown-​up but still childish enough to enjoy dress-​up. If you are in Florence, stop by this place. You will have a good time and a great picture.
