O’Reilly Auto Parts

I have to agree with the other review. This place has great prices compared to the others in town.
I have used them many times for that reason.
But I have been given the wrong part multiple times even though I had an ASE certified mechanic with me and he had all the correct answers they needed to give us the right part.
The price is right and the service is friendly as far as auto parts places go.
Just don’t be surprised if you have to make another trip to get right part.

Had to replace a belt in my car recently. Purchased the one for my car at O’Reillys. A friend volunteered to replace it for me — woohoo. So we met, let the car cool down, he took the bad belt off and went to replace with the new one. Realized the one we purchased was not correct. So we had to take another car and drive all the way back to O’Reillys. Come to find out that the belt in the sleeve we purchased was not the one that goes in the sleeve. I’m not sure if the manufacturer messed it up or if an employee at O’Reillys did — all I know is, we were out some time just to get the correct one.
I’m not sure if you have ever experienced this or not but my advice is — take the old belt with you to get the new one — then compare.
It sure would have been nice customer service if they gave you a coupon or discount on next purchase — for your troubles. Just a suggestion.
At least the price was reasonable.
