Definitely not a Wow experience with the exception of Tammy Shende, my sales consultant. My experience with HER was what Tom Gill says it will be. Not «taken for a ride» and «no pressure» was not my experience with her sales manager– starting with the first offer’s financing and not honoring what was told to me over chat about the $ 1000 cash and student discounts being stackable with current 20% MSRP discount. $ 500 Trade-​in also not honored. Took about 5 hours. At least 2 ½ hours idle time before I got in to do financing.

We have purchased 3 automobiles here. Sales staff is not like other dealerships, and the inside is comfortable. I watched basketball while the wife negotiated. Will definitely return if we need a vehicle.

only go here if you want to be ripped off and sold a lemon of a car. I’m over $ 5000 upside down on a piece of crap sonic they sold me and I’m stuck paying out-​of-​pocket for repairs because my warranty doesn’t seem to cover anything. Once they take your money they absolutely do not care. They loaded me up with extra warranties that literally has not covered anything. But there more than happy to offer me $ 4000 back on the car that I owe $ 9800 on. Pathetic!

I took my diesel to this pathetic excuse for a service center for (warranty work) from another dealership because i bought my truck out of state, and they charged me $ 700 for a part that my truck did not need and said and charged me services they did not perform. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money.

Went to get a used car and got a better deal on a new. I’m very satisfied with the car and the employees at Tom Gill. They did what was best for me and I feel they went out of the way to make my experience there a lot better. Plus Leaanne Mann deserve a raise. Lol.

Don’t trust Tom Gill Chevrolet Service. After receiving an email from Tom Gill Chevrolet informing me that I needed to schedule my required 30,000 mile service for my 2010 Silverado I opened Tom Gill’s website and logged on to my personal Tom Gill service account. This is a specific service that is repeated every 15,000 miles. The site asked for my vehicle mileage, which I entered. And I was directed to a page for 30,000 mile service. I chose the package for the 30,000 Mile Basic Maintenance and was given a total cost of $ 59.95. I chose a time and date to have the service completed and scheduled the appointment all the time believing that I had scheduled the same service that I had received at 15,000 miles. I printed an appointment confirmation stating that I had scheduled the 30,000 Mile Basic Maintenance. I also received an email confirming that I had scheduled the 30,000 Mile Basic Maintenance. I arrived for my appointment and met with Service Advisor Rex Tonan. Mr. Tonan verified that I was there for the 30,000 Mile Basic Maintenance, entered it into the computer and informed me that the price for the service would be over $ 130.00. You can imagine my shock. I showed Mr. Tonan my service conformation with the quoted price of $ 59.95. Mr. Tonan informed me that since Chevrolet had changed their maintenance schedule for their newer vehicles the service I believed I was scheduling no longer existed. To get the service that was required I would have to purchase the new 24,000 mile maintenance at twice the cost. At no time prior to this was I notified of a change in the service schedule. Not in the email for service due, not on the website when I scheduled the service, not in the conformation, nor the follow-​up email. If the maintenance schedule has change, why did I not receive an email informing me that my next required service was due at 24,000 miles and why does the website still call it the 30,000 Mile Basic Maintenance? I told Mr. Tonan that I didn’t think this was right and asked to speak to the Service Manager. The Service Manager told me that the website could not differentiate between services schedules for a 2010 vehicle and a newer vehicle (REALLY?) and that if I wanted the require service I would have to pay the $ 130.00. He said if I was not prepared to pay $ 130.00 at this time I could get a basic oil change for $ 59.95 and he would allow me to get the required $ 130.00 maintenance at 36,000 without violating my warranty. The bottom line: I purchased a vehicle with a specific maintenance schedule. I scheduled my service as directed by their email correspondence and their poorly constructed website. They changed the maintenance schedule. They did not notify the customer of the change. I schedule my service in good faith. They did not care.

I’ve listened to Tom’s commercials for many years now so we gave him a shot. I had been working with Jeff Wyler on a new Chevy Cruise and my wife was working with a person from Tom Gill (via
). We told the salesperson at Tom Gill what we were looking for and the price. She said they had the car in stock, that we needed to come in (over a half hour away) and they would meet any deal. Naturally we we’re hoping to get a better deal, a $ 25.00 test drive gift card, 8 free tires, oil changes, and all of the other BS. It didn’t happen and they were no where close in price. Total waste of time and after waiting almost 15 minutes for the $ 25.00 card, we decided to leave. «Tom Gill Chevrolet is a business of character». What exactly does that mean Tom? Total lip service!

My fiancé and I purchased a used vehicle from here and had a wonderful experience. Our salesman, Nate, was very helpful and not pushy at all. We test drove several cars, and he was very patient and upfront with us, even when we kept him well after they were closed. We trusted him immediately and knew we weren’t being swindled or patronized. We got a really good deal on the car, and have had nothing but good experiences with them and the service department. I definitely recommend Tom Gill!

Purchased a used vehicle from here. On the way home the check engine light came on. Went back to the dealership and they refused to do a thing. I under stand it was sold as is but if I pay 15k for a used car I would think they would fix a sensor. They obviously turned off the check engine light hoping it wouldn’t come back on for awhile. Shady dealership, have any used car thoroughly looked looked over by a good mechanic before signing anything!

I was looking for a lease that I saw being available online. First impression was ok kind of long process but no different than any American car dealers, then when it came down to numbers I regretted wasting almost 1hr30 of my time with a sales rep and a manager offering me THE biggest rip off deal ever. $ 10k down on a lease!!! Really??? Beyond of being offended. So ridiculous. My suggestion: Don’t waste your time going there.

This place has a pattern of trying to talk women into getting repairs/​products they don’t need. Implied that I was in danger because of severe wear to my tires. The tires were relatively new and still under warranty. My husband and son checked them out and called BS. Earlier they tired to «scare» me into an alignment («We can’t guarantee you won’t have an accident!») shortly after the car had been aligned by the tire dealership. I was having no problems. They try to get away with this by saying that these are just their «professional» opinions and that they want to avoid liability by warning you. I have read complaints about this same tactic at several consumer sites. Beware. Some of their wonderful reviews seem less than credible.

Expected some resolution to an air intake issue causing sputtering and an oil change.
Instead, I received information that I already knew and a stripped oil pan! And it cost me $ 200. The intake issue is NOT resolved estimate of $ 900 and now I have to fix an oil pan, too.
Do yourself a favor and find a local trustworthy garage, If you take an aging car to them, they just want to sell you a new car, not fix nor maintain your existing car… between that and a fancy new building .that is why this dealerships cost so much!
They gotta pay for it somehow! It won’t be at my expense again.

Brought the car in for an oil change and to have the coolant and brake fluid topped off. What I expected to be a routine procedure resulted in a several hundred dollar bill!
That’s right — a couple hundred bucks for something that elsewhere costs less than $ 50.00. Upon disputing the bill, I was told that I should have asked for an estimate prior to the work being complete. It is common courtesy to contact the customer if a car brought in for a simple procedure will cost significantly more than expected.
Since this incident, I have taken my business elsewhere. Village Quik Lube in Newtown is somewhat out of the way, but definitely worth the trip. An oil change with fluids topped off costs $ 30.00, plus I’ve been treated with respect and quick service every time.
