Because the head is kept in a neutral position, not turned or twisted, Chiropractic sessions using the Activator Technique are painless and more safe than traditional techniques. To help manage pain, Dr. Ostroff uses the Multi Radiance Medical Super Pulsed Laser.. Dr. Cathy Ostroff DC CCN HMC has had a successful holistic health practice since 1980. She has helped thousands of patients, incorporating evidence-​based nutrition, chiropractic methods and homeopathy to help them achieve optimum health. She obtained board certification in clinical nutrition in 2010 from the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists. She is certified in nutritional blood chemistry analysis and advanced Activator Methods. A graduate of Rutgers University, Dr. Ostroff earned her BA in psychology and anthropology and received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1977 from the New York Chiropractic College of SUNY. Dr. Ostroff serves on the Editorial Board of Natural Standard Research Collaboration, an evidence-​based information database on alternative and complementary therapies.
