Never again will I patronize Florham Park Liquor store… a while back, I bought a lottery ticket, paying with a five dollar bill. The girl at the counter insisted after she handed me the ticket, that I did not pay. I told her I did… But I would be willing to wait around if she wanted to count the till. She nastily said «no, but I know you didn’t pay»… So I leave my name and number and offer to come back and pay if there is a discrepancy at the end of the night…
Fast forward, to today, when I go to cash in the lotto ticket ($ 10)…
The man (one of the owners) who helped me couldn’t be bothered to say hello or goodbye, took my two winning tickets from me, threw them on the counter, and then proceeded to throw the money in my direction without uttering a word…
I’m all for supporting local businesses, but if you want business, it pays to be courteous!!!

On the way home from a meeting trying to get to a restaurant where I’m meeting Wifey for a late dinner… a Friday ‘Hot Date’…which usually means any place we can throw down some food before we have to drive a kid to or from some activity. Anyway, I do a quick Unilocal review for where we’re going to eat and realize it’s a BYOB…‘Great!’… ‘Crap!, I have to stop’.
Luckily I was right in Florham park and saw the sign for Florham Park Liquors. I didn’t have a whole lot of time for browsing or an in-​depth look at their wine selections, however I can say this… they have a decent beer selection (and still stocked up in Pumkpin Beers if you are interested), a nice sized wine selection, and the prices are reasonable. The owner happened to be there last night and was joking around with his cashier… seemed like a really nice guy-​happy employees are GOOD employees.
This place isn’t near where I live, but if I’m ever over in Florham Park and need adult beverages I certainly know where to go.

Bruce and brothers are top notch business owners. I have known them since about the 1980’s and were kind enough the hire me when I was out of a job while in my college years. Over the years I still stop in when Im in NJ just to catch up. I walk in the door after not seeing them for 15 or more years and still greet me by name!
They treat each customer with a small town attitude and will win your business after just one visit.

Florham Park Liquors always has what you need, and if they don’t, they will find it for you and order it. The staff and owners are friendly and knowledgable. Prices are fair and you can generally find a coupon too.
Don’t forget to pick up your lottery tickets too!

Every time I head to NJ from MA, I bring my boyfriend home some Yuengling, people got wind of this and now I have to bring back much more. I was staying in Parsippany, which must be a dry town or something, or maybe I am just used to not having trouble finding a liquor store since I live less in the suburbs than this.
Anyway we needed 4 warm cases they had 3.
Why the 5 star review? In talking to the people there we explained what was going on and why we needed so much warm beer on a Saturday afternoon. They were SO COOL. Brought it to my car and told me I could call ahead next time so they could make sure they had enough for us. I thought this was great considering we were out of towners.
I will come back here for my Jersey beer buying needs in the future.

Tucked in the back of the Kings shopping plaza, there’s a sweet liquor store stocked full of good wines and nicely priced kegs. Stop by here any night of the week to start up a conversation with the owners and find a good wine to pair with food or something just to relax with. You’ll find them knowledgable and accommodating!
