History

Established in 2014.

I, the StL Piano Teacher, have been playing for more than 20 years, and wanted to pass on my knowledge to others. I am so very passionate about playing, and I strive to ignite that passion in my students. I have been giving lessons for about 8 months now, but am pleased with the progress my students have made, and hope to help more and more, as long as I can.

I grew up in a small town in Illinois, with little to do except read books, explore the woods behind my house, and practice my piano. There were no malls, no movie theaters close by. I graduated in the top of my class in high school, and got a hefty scholarship to Saint Louis University, where I studied English, with minors in Psychology and Creative and Professional Writing. I also took two years of piano courses, though my professors told me I was too talented for their classes. That was very satisfying, I’ll admit. My piano teachers growing up would have been quite pleased, I think. Now I am my own boss, with a wonderful internet business, allowing me to give piano lessons in my free time.
