Our family went to Anamias for the first time on 01/01/2016 and the service and food was great. We went in the afternoon while it wad busy, but that did not stop them from providing great service and foos. We will definitely be going back soon.

Fresh Mexican food with a plethora of different options. For those opting for a healthier dish their salad bowls are clean and delicious. I will have to go back to give their enchiladas a try!

This place has the best guacamole ever, but I have to warn you about the salsa. I have been going here for years with my family, and every time I eat too much of their salsa the outcome is HORRIBLE on my digestive system(If you know what I mean). Don’t eat too much of it. Food is usually good but can sometimes upset the tummy which sucks. The only thing I dislike about this place is the smell it leaves on my clothing when I leave, I mean it smells all the way down to your undies.

Friendly staff, consistent tex mex. chicken enchiladas and Shrimp salad are very good. Atmosphere nice and enjoy a drink at the bar. Bartenders attentive and margaritas are great.

Great place to get Tex Mex! Chips and salsa are served for free but we ordered queso as well. It was very creamy and rich. I got the enchiladas and they seemed freshly made and appetizing. I finished my plate with a happy stomach.

I consider myself and my hubby as Tex/Mex Food Snobs. We definitely know what we are looking for and at times it’s impossible to find. We found this place on Unilocal and it sounded like an interesting place to try out. We went in for a lunch without the offspring. ;) Hubby had the Lunch Combo with the Brisket Taco and Tomatillo Chicken Enchilada. Hub’s was happy with his meal and said he would definitely be back and would order the same meal again. I got 3 of the Brisket Tacos and a side of beans. Overall I was happy with my meal. The meat had great flavor and was very juicy. This would be a great place to take our extended family and friends. We will definitely be back soon.

I don’t like the sodas come in cans. The salsa is a bit bland and a lot of the food is just average. The service is pretty good

Food here is not authentic Mexican fare but the chips have a nice texture. The salsa is pretty bland but queso is decent. I had a burrito lunch special which was disappointing. It was literally just ground beef inside a pair of tortillas with heaping portions of rice and beans on either side. Décor in the restaurant is nice but the food should be as important.

Had a great experience at Anamia’s while visiting family in Flower Mound. I loved the setting of the restaurant as well as the quality of food. The restaurant was clean, busy and lively – a good sign. We came in as a party of 5 for dinner and received exceptional service from our waiter. The food was a nice portion and very flavorful. If I can remember correctly, I got something along the lines of enchiladas. I was not disappointed. Their drinks are also something to note as being very fresh and tasty. I had the mojito and it was very fresh and a generous pour to note. Fun setting to enjoy Mexican cuisine. I found my Mexican spot when visiting Flower Mound!

Great service and fast at lunch. In general all the food and sauces needed more seasoning, but once you add a few sprinkles of salt your in flavor town. The chicken tortilla soup is sooooo yummy and a bowl is plenty to fill you up. I always like it when you can get spicy salsa instead of gringo tomato sauce, just be sure to tell them you want it. The Brisket taco is flavorful and the caramelized onions are a nice companion in the taco. The only let down was the queso blanco. It just didn’t have the spice or flavor level that a good queso blanco should have, it was also a little runny.

One of my favorite places to visit every time I’m in Dallas! Table-side guacamole is nothing short of AMAZING! Crazy good! Had the shrimp taco entrée this time — wonderful! Even met Mia. Just love this place. I’ll be back! Again, and again!

I went to Anamia’s to celebrate my birthday. I was very disappointed with the service provided. My wife asked the waiter if the restaurant does anything special for birthdays. The Waiter said, «we can bring the Tres Leches cake and sing happy birthday for him.» Since most restaurants give free dessert on birthdays and the waiter made no mention of it costing, imagine our surprise when they charged us for the cake. Needless to say, I will not be going again and it is unfortunate because I only live 2 minutes away.

Great texmex. Good service, good food, good atmosphere, good price, and clean! Great place to run and grab dinner — nice ambience but casual dining. The chips are subpar but the salsa is amazing! My favorite dish is the brisket taco called the mexicana on the menu. Strong yummy margaritas. Not a huge fan of the queso but everything else we have here is always really good. We live in the area and it is our go to for a quick night out. Order are the guacamole instead! Also good bar to stop and meet a friend for a drink.

It was alright. We have had better experiences at other places before. I’d say their grilled items are their specialty. We ended up getting a giant plate of assorted grilled meats to try out and it was definitely good. Nothing really stood out about it though. The place doesn’t seem that unique compared to other offerings in the DFW area. We would definitely return but I don’t think it will be on any kind of special occasion or anything. I think next time we will try the guacamole that everyone raves about. The fajitas are definitely good though, above par. I’d recommend that to someone trying the place out.

This was seriously the BEST guacamole I have ever had in my life. We ordered table side guacamole. The lady came, asked us if we wanted it mild, medium or spicy. We chose medium, just in case, and it was perfect. I could not get enough of it. We also ordered and split the full order of the spinach and mushroom quesadilla. Divine. fresh made tortillas, perfect combination of flavors with mushrooms, cheese and spinach. I can say that, the full order was too much with the large order of table side guac. We could only eat two each of the slices of quesadilla. So, depending on your appetite, you might be safe to order just the half order when getting a large guacamole made table side. I enjoyed every bite and plan to eat there each time I visit the area.

W heard some good things about this joint and decided to give it a go for lunch carry-out. Unfortunately it wasn’t very good, pretty disappointed that our beef fajitas were soggy/runny. The spinach and cheese enchiladas were ok. Will have to try again base on good things I’ve heard about Anamia’s.

I still don’t understand why so many people love this place. Maybe it’s because the restaurant is walking distance from many houses. ladies don’t have to go far for their margarita Mondays. Food is blah.

It’s Suburban White Folk Mexican Food. Just look at their locations, Coppell, FM, Plano and Southlake. «Quality Ingredients and Zero Flavor,» that should be Animia’s Motto All these reviewers that gave this place 5 stars probably had Taco Bell as their only Tex-Mex resty to compare it too. People who gave this place 4 stars had Chipotle. and the people who gave this place 3 stars have probably actually ever eatin’ at a quality Mexican/Tex-Mex resty before.

Went here on 11÷29÷14 for lunch with Brian P. There was no wait whatsoever and our food came out extremely fast. While the place looks great and the service is fine, I didn’t like most of my food. I ordered the Cha Cha Platter($ 8.49) and I gave Brian 2 out of 3 of my items. The chicken and spinach enchilada was tasty but that’s it. Taco that came with my meal is simply ground beef with lettuce and tomato and cheese, but no spice flavor. We ordered chili con queso and I found it to be pretty enjoyable. Chips were nice and crispy. I had a bite of Brian’s brisket taco from his Cowboy Platter and it was delicious. I’d definitely order one of those if I returned. Bathrooms were very clean and fancy. No hurry to race back the next time I’m in town.
