Celebrity Car Wash

Don’t go on a slow day!!! I’ve been coming here for a while, it’s usually quite busy but runs very efficiently. Of course you wait a bit when there are cars backed up to the street waiting. Today however was very slow due to the forecast. Came in for an oil change and wash and have been here almost 2 hours now! Completely absurd! Intentionally came when it was slow to get in and out faster and I’ve waited longer than the busiest day I’ve been here.
I should have waited until it was over to post, had to have them clean the entire drivers door that was completely dirty!

I am not happy with the service you get here with the new change in management and owner. Used to be my favorite place to get my car washed now I’ll be going to the one off 2499 they seem much better.

We had our civic fully detailed and we could not be more impressed! Everything was spotless. The wait was a bit long, but to be fair, it was a Saturday afternoon and they were very busy. We were specifically impressed by two employees: Sam and Cameron. They had excellent work ethic and worked quickly and efficiently. We will absolutely be back in the future.

Never again. Car was forgotten and sat out front in the fourth row. First two rows get worked but the second two take forever and really get a poor job. Sorry fellas, I’ve been here too many times with the same results. No one even asked me why I was taking my car because after sitting there for 25 minutes, it was never touched and no one waved me over. I know they saw me because I told two employees EXCUSE ME to get to my car. Nope, never again. 2499 and 3040 is a much much better car wash.
Still bugs and dirt on the car.

Celebrity car wash is overpriced for the level of detail they use while cleaning and waxing cars. I expected more for my money. I spent nearly $ 250 between two cars. I returned both to have the work redone. I reread some of the posts on Unilocal and would say my poor experience was very similar to others. I’ve brought my cars here for three years. The level of detail has gone down hill in the past 6 months.

First time, had to direct crew to obvious missed cleaning. Four employees standing around while two cleaned my vehicle. Way too much interaction on my part. No direction from management. Will not go back, waste of 26.00.

Front staff was very nice, they told me my jeep was ready but when I looked at it both sides still had dirt. I asked them to while it down, they attempted but just smeared it and told me it was ready, I had to do it myself. I will never return to this place.

I am very disappointed with Celebrity Car Wash to say the least. I dropped off my car to get a full service detail. It ended up raining that day, so I picked my car up later. The next morning I notice a piece of my door handle was missing from the passenger side. I went back to Celebrity and spoke with Mike Overstreet (General Manager) to see if the piece broke off inside the car wash. The piece was found inside the car wash but was badly damaged. Mike looked at the spot on my car where the piece was and noticed something that looked like glue. Immediately, he accused me of gluing the piece on my car and refused to fix the damage since the piece was supposedly damaged before I brought the car in. The piece had never fallen off my car nor did I ever glue it. I tried to reason with him to possibly get the piece repaired but he said it would cost too much because it needed to be painted and color matched. He also didn’t offer to refund any portion of what I paid for the detail services or apologize. After I realized he did not care about correcting the issue, I left disappointed. I brought my car to the shop only to find out that the «glue» Mike accused me of using to keep the piece on was actually factory. I hope Mike is not this way with all customers and does he research before he accuses customers of bringing «damaged» cars to Celebrity. I know losing one loyal customer doesn’t mean much to a company but it means a lot to me to be accused of something I did not do. With that being said, they did a great job detailing my car but the situation could have been handled in a professional manner.

Spent $ 109.99 for interior detailing my Honda Odyssey. After 3 hours they gave me the van and it was not vacuumed properly. When I pointed out the worker guys took care of it. The manager was unapologetic.
I also dropped my other car for the same service and need to see how well they do that.
Need to find another place for my cars now.

Great place to get your car or truck washed. The Producers package has always been my go to package and will continue to be. It offers a 6 day rain guarantee which you can get the basic wash for free or do your package at a discount. One hint: if you plan on doing first thing Saturday morning, wait until around 2pm or so, the lines are not as long. Be ready to wait, it does take about 30 minutes from start to driving off, but it’s worth the wait.
I have found the quality of service is better when they are not rushed by an overload of cars.

As like another rater, stuff wasn’t put back in my car.
Be prepared to spend hours here no matter when you come.
Upside — they did an outstanding job with both of my cars.

They did good work but I had to wait a very long time. I also had to drive back because they didn’t put my car mats back in my vehicle.

First time here. Phenomenal job with cleaning the inside of my car. A bit more effort could have been spent on my chrome wheels but overall a great job for $ 25.

Altho pricey for my taste without a groupon… I do love the way my car was shiny clean after coming to this car wash. They also ask you what scent you would like your car smelling after it’s finished. Clean car smell please!

I’m trying to sell my car, and it was filthy so I stopped by this car wash to get it detailed. They told me up front how long it would take. I forgot my ipad at home so I was wondering what I was going to do for 2 hours, but I had to get it done so I stayed. I walked inside and to my surprise there was computers waiting to be used! And to make it even better, they had Macs. They updated me with how much longer was left and before I knew it my car was done. Now, I don’t clean my car often (I’m lazy), and it literally looks brand new now. You would never guess it was 9 years old. I love this place!

If I could give ZERO stars I would.
Ridiculous lines without enough workers moving the cars thru. Celebrity BUST. I felt captive how long it took to wait for my car boxed in. To boot– I saw more workers walking around eating and more folks just walking around moving around cars without much flow. Easily if they hired double the staff they’d have happier customers and earning more revenue. I wish they offered self — vacuuming :)

Nothing special other than the atmosphere. Comparable with the other car washes in the area.

I live in Fort Worth but was up in Flower Mound when I saw the big blue gorilla out in front of Celebrity Car Wash kicking off their 18-​minute car wash guarantee. I never get a full-​service car wash but had actually almost gotten one the weekend before closer to home so I decided to pull in and get a professional cleaning job on my GTI.
I got their Red Carpet Express Detail and they really did a great job! My interior hadn’t looked that good in way too many months. It made me happy I was a good distance from home so I could enjoy driving my car with it looking so good.
My car has low-​profile tires with big spoke rims that show through to the rotors. Even when I wash the car myself the rims are something that require a lot of attention and I always find sections I missed. The guys at Celebrity got all the spots and made them shine.
My only complaint (and this is being picky) is that my seats were pushed forward and angled up and my rear view mirror and a/​c setting knobs were out of whack from were I had them. But, I suppose that is normal when someone else is doing the cleaning and not myself.
The staff was friendly and the guy at the counter remembered and called me by name when it was all done. I like that.
Celebrity had internet connected computers set up, free Starbucks coffee and a nice waiting area so I didn’t spend my time there pacing around bored waiting for the job to be done.
If I lived in the Flower Mound area I could see myself stopping in at Celebrity Car Wash every now and then to get that extra special cleaning of my car.

Celebrity car wash is a fancy Schmancy car wash center. The interior is lavishly appointed with a full coffee bar, comfy chairs, nice computers and tons of magazines to read. Also several large flat screen TVs to watch. So, the wait was very very nice.
But, what didn’t do it for me was the actual car wash… which is what I came for. The quality was very sub par. Lots of dirty spots remained, including mud on my undercarriage. Their idea of drying off the car was a joke and they applied the time treatment and armor-​all in a cheap, fast and haphazard manner. When I complained, they offer to fix it if I came back later because I was in a hurry. But, the whole reason I brought my car to a car wash was to get my car clean and looking good quickly. I normally wash my car myself if I have the time, so I am paying for the convenience. So if I have to wait around all day to have it done right, or come back on a second visit, then to me this is just a waste of money.
Overall, I do not plan to go back. Nice inside, but honestly its a car wash… your goal is to spend as little time as possible waiting and get back in your CLEAN car and back on the road. So on that basis, they failed. :-(Plus, this place is EXPENSIVE!!!

I visited Celebrity Car Wash today, and I have to say it isn’t your run of the mill car wash. They did an outstanding job with getting my car clean and managed to remember not to spray the fragrance in my car. (Always a plus!) A great wash is only one part of the story.
I think the biggest difference between Celebrity and most car washes is the waiting experience. They provide a computer bar and Internet access for their customers complete with 3 PC’s and two Macs. They also have a large waiting area with a TV and several leather chairs and couches. The interior décor is higher end than most. You’ll also notice how spartan the interior seems. They have a cooler for drinks, coffee, and a few cards and accessories. But, you aren’t in car schlock hell like the wait area in so many other washes.
For $ 39 they did a complete vacuum and wash, hand dry, tire dressing, shampooed the mats, and cleaned all the interior windows, seats, and panels. Once it was done, outside of the few door dings and scratches it has accumulated over the last 4 years, it looked as shiny as the day I picked it up. My 3 year old even thought I should take a picture of the «shiny, clean car.» Must be making a comment on how infrequently I get it done.
