Dr. Jacquelyn Stanfield’s VIP Dental Care is a private general dental practice serving Flower Mound and the surrounding area for 24 years.

Dr. Stanfield and her VIP Dental Care staff are passionate about taking the whole-​patient approach in dentistry. Dr. Stanfield recognizes that the best dental care is not one-​size-​fits-​all but rather an individualized, customized dental care plan for each patient based on that patient’s needs. She’s careful to take into consideration the medical history as well as any long-​term goals, perhaps fears, and questions that the patient may have expressed during a consultation or treatment appointment. VIP Dental Care patients appreciate this whole-​patient approach which goes hand-​in-​hand with Dr. Stanfield’s compassionate nature.

In addition, Dr. Stanfield is a Preferred Invisalign Provider, and strives to incorporate the latest in dental technology, allowing her to arrive at the best treatment practices for each patient.

Established in 1990.

Dentistry has evolved and dental technology has advanced tremendously over these past 24 years. As an enthusiastic proponent of continuing education and incorporating new technologies into her practice, Dr. Stanfield has steadily kept pace. She attends classes each year at several institutions and conventions around the country and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Association of Women Dentists.

Dr. Stanfield was the first dentist in the area to utilize the 3D CAM/​CAD technology of CEREC® to make beautiful, natural-​looking ceramic crowns and inlays in one appointment. She also uses the Identafi® oral cancer screening tool, which employs different colors of light to detect abnormal tissue, and has done extensive study in the potential elimination of future cavities by keeping a patient’s oral pH balanced. Dr. Stanfield initially headed out into the workaday world with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas. She quickly landed a job with a company that sold the first IBM computers, programming computer games and selling software. But she realized over time that something was missing. «I wrote a game for IBM PC and it dawned on me, ‘This is not right for me. This is not enough for me.’ I definitely preferred working with people and not machines,» recalls Dr. Stanfield.

As luck would have it, call it serendipity, some of Dr. Stanfield’s clients were orthodontists. Their work and their capacity to make a difference in their patients’ lives struck a chord with Dr. Stanfield. She decided to enter Baylor College of Dentistry, finishing her DDS degree in 1989 and opening her VIP Dental Care practice in Flower Mound. Ten years later, she built her current location just down the road, easily distinguishable by the bright red awning.
