Dr. Samuel Kwon attended the University of Georgia where he graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D) degreee in May 2002. Following dental school, Dr. Kwon completed a two year residency program in pediatric dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia and graduated in 2004.
Dr. Kwon is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Georgia Dental Association.
While in dental school, he was the recipient of many pediatric dental related awards. Dr. Kwon is currently on staff at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital and Egleston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, where he provides dental rehabilitation for pediatric and special needs patients.
Dr. Kwon is a dentist who is qualified to offer general anesthesia to pediatric patients who need care for which topical or localized anesthetics are insufficient.
