This is the only place where you can really seat and eat something with a bar in terminal B. However the food was gross I ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was super dry there was not even a trace of cheese(mind you the sandwich comes with fresh mozzarella) the bread was a mere slice bread for $ 14.00 dollars, never again ! Also, there were absolutely no seats available and we had to stand while eating, the floor was filthy.

I always have low expectations for Airport restaurants. Especially at LGA. I think they could use a sign, that says waiter service available at tables, because it isn’t obvious. But once my waiter came over, I enjoyed it here. My Panini was excellent, coffee was delicious. And served in a real mug, with a creamer. Which was nice, after a week of paper cups. My server Rigo was friendly and efficient.

Excellent panini sandwich but alcohol is at a premium price. Definitely the best option in the terminal for something freshly prepared

There are six taps, but the only beer available is Bud Lite?!? There are six employees around, but no one can ask if I want eat anything? There’s a posted menu that seems thoughtful, but you serve on paper plates? Friends, this is what a lack of competition does to food in an airport. From the filthy beer glass on, this was a one-star experience.

This was the only sit-down restaurant on the side of Laguardia I was on. At first I saw the menu and walked by because it seemed too expensive. When you get to the end of the terminal you quickly realize that Six Blocks is your only option. It took a few minutes for the servers to approach us, which was the first sign that this would be a poor dining experience. I ordered a chicken sandwich, which started off decent until one of the larger pieces I bit into was uncooked. I ate around it since I was hungry and knew the in-flight peanuts wouldn’t tickle my fancy. In the end, I would recommend eating beforehand because you will be highly disappointed when you leave. I gave this place a second star only because you have no options when at this terminal, so in a way it is ‘convenient’.

This place was very, disturbingly overpriced. I paid $ 14 for a sandwich and tap water. The prices are not posted so it might be helpful to ask prior to ordering if you are on a budget. Service was good. The place was cozy as it occupies a small amount of space and travelers have their bags next to them. The food was decent but nothing that I would crave.

Stuck at airport 2 hours before flight!!! What to do? Go visit BRUCE& Yvonne here. Key to success: Sit at bar. They have plugs for charging devices as well as energy to spare to take care of you. My Irish coffee was hot, prompt and exactly what I needed. I wonder if BRUCE and company are victims by previous reviews worn out from visiting above the Mason Dixon line. Just saying– let’s face it NYC is expensive and everyone seems to suffer from perpetual grouchy. God bless.

The food options at Laguardia seem to be just terrible. But this place has several things going for it. 1) Only place in Terminal B to get an alcoholic drink. 2) Only place in Terminal B to watch sports/TV. 3) Only place in Terminal B to sit down while eating. It is not very clean, but the servers have a modicum of friendliness, the food is edible, and there are some outlets on the back wall you can use to plug in and charge your devices. It’s really bright inside, which falls in line with the«bakery» in its name, but the full bar tells a different story. Price-wise, it seemed pretty normal for New York and airports, which means high compared to everywhere else. A Jack-and-coke was $ 12, a rum-and-coke was $ 11.

I know airport service and food is for the most part poor and one would think it couldn’t be worse. Think again!!! This place is awful even on the airport quality scale. Unfortunately it is the only place you can can sit down and order a meal in the B gate of La Guardia. We sat down at the bar and was ignored for 5 or 10 minutes. Mind you the place was dead and there was 2 employees. One waiter which walked past us twice and didn’t even acknowledge us. The other was a cook that stood 5 feet from us and just played on there phone. I ordered quiche and a water once we were finally were greeted. The water came first which was a glass of tap water with no ice. At first I thought that maybe they just didn’t have any ice. But shortly afterwards I saw her using ice. I asked If I could have some ice as well and you would of thought I asked her for a kidney. After they microwaved the quiche it set on the counter 3 feet in front of me behind the bar for another 10 minutes. Mind you the cook put it there and continued to play on her phone with no hair net. I must admit that the quiche was decent though. This place is God awful service wise though!!!

It an airport bar. I get it. Things are expensive. Things are busy. But this is THEWORST airplane bar. They serve«charcuterie» on paper plates. They cook everything on a panini press, but they don’t clean the panini press. They clean the food AFTER it is squashed in the sad hot fingers of the underworld, like a pumpkin brutalized by a small town high school football team a week after Halloween. Drink prices are astronomical. Service is nonexistent. Save yourself the trouble and drink before the airport at a bar where you can feel happiness.

Went here because it seemed nicer than the few options in the B terminal, but it was truly next level terrible. When you walk in, it’s unclear whether you order from the counter or if there’s table service. Of course, everyone who works there ignores you unless you stare them down. The food seemed promising on the menu, which was nicely designed, but it’s extremely expensive for any kind of breakfast place. Like an idiot, I thought the prices must reflect the quality to some extent but I was sorely mistaken. I got the meat plate, coffee, and some«seasonal» fruit(which came out to be $ 29.00). First of all, it was served on a paper plate with plastic silverware. The meat plate turned out to be very few pieces of cured meat, and the fruit was old cantaloupe and honeydew that wasn’t even as good as the pre-packaged stuff you grab further into the terminal. The only saving grace was that the coffee was slightly better than the burnt stuff at Au Bön Pain.

Went into get a drink tonight after a four hour layover. One of their edgier clients(dressed in all black except for the trench coat and lime green tie) had way too much to drink. He started throwing my bags after I moved an empty chair that allegedly knocked over«his girl’s» carry on. Turns out the girl was just as creeped out when she came back, but that’s beside the point. You’re probably thinking so far — why five stars? Here’s why: we left, but the manager tracked us down in the terminal. Apologized even though it was no fault of his own and lined up a table for us so we could come back. We could have left with a bad taste in our mouths and most likely nothing would have come from one terrible customer’s belligerent actions except another story about why Laguardia sucks. Instead I signed into Unilocal to write a positive review. KUDOS to the manager for caring and making it more than right. I didn’t have the food, but the beer was cold and the customer service was excellent.

I think after this visit I will just give up at finding anything edible in terminal B at LGA. I was hopeful that this place would be better than others I have tried previously. On the outside it looks like it would offer better food than the fast food vendors. So wrong. My first clue should have been when I heard a worker at the bar tell the girl next to me that everything was pre-made so she could not alter her order. I still gave it a go though. I order a turkey quiche and an orange juice. The quiche was not a quiche at all. It was a spongy mystery with big chunks of turkey in it. I ended up leaving more than half of it. It had a mixed green salad on top with a balsamic vinaigrette which was its only saving grace. Orange juice was lukewarm and pulpy. The staff is flat out rude. When you walk in it is unclear if you should find a seat and someone will come to you or you should order at the counter. No one gives you any direction either. When the same girl asked if she could order after we both had been standing there for about five minutes without being acknowledged, the man behind the bar told her he could only if she wanted to sit at the bar. If not, she should sit at a table and someone would come to her. Nice information to know at the beginning. I sat at a table, my «waitress» came by to take my order and that was it. Didn’t see her again. Even more frustrating is that an 8 oz glass of orange juice is $ 5! WTF? So in all my less than mediocre food and drink was over $ 16 and then I had to leave a tip. Not worth the money, the time or the frustration.

The only place to sit down and have a quick bite before a Southwest flight in Laguardia airport. Horrendous. Filthy. Service is awful. Server has no clue what he’s doing. Asked what the soup of the day was. He doesn’t know. I ask what kind of quiche do you have? He doesn’t know. Asked for a cup of coffee 15 minutes ago — did you see it? It’s unbelievable that this place serves travelers. Or anyone else for that matter.

Their menu is pretty, leading me to believe that this food might be better than average. It was not. My prosciutto, mozzarella and roasted red pepper sandwich was too salty by a factor of 4. The mozzarella was pretty much missing in action. The peppers were small traces. The greens were wilted and the salad dressing looked like cranberry sauce. You can do much better at one of the prepackaged vendors in the terminal. All in all though, Terminal B is pretty grim — one step better than a Greyhound station.

This place is pretty awful, but it’s the only place to get a cocktail in Terminal B. Prices are high, food selection is limited, service is hit or miss. The Roasted Vegetable Panini was actually pretty decent.

Typical airport prices, this isn’t the place to look for food bargains. Had BLT and it was just like I would make at home… plenty of bacon and no skimping on the tomatoes. Served with nice greens on the side, not iceberg lettuce. Not sure but think its the only place in the B gate area to get a beer. Bar is full service with spirits, wine and beer. Six different draft beers and at least 5 bottled beers. Service was good. quickly attended to and served.

Staff was friendly but not attentive. Pint of beer was ok since it was a Brooklyn larger. «Rocket» salad was not good. Too bad because arugula was fresh. Problem was goat cheese had no flavor and was just crumbles. Salad dressing was another story. It tasted like salt water with hint, just a hint of vinegar. It’s like they added a glass of water to an oz of dressing to dilute it. Too bad since The B terminal could use a nice restaurant that serves beer, wine and a decent salad.

The departure experience at LGA is reprehensible. The only way to make it worse on a weekday morning is to put an abysmal café/bar on the other side of the TSA. If Six Blocks is paying for that presence, they are getting murdered by an incompetent and ambivalent waitstaff. The«chef» on duty was the only one who seemed to care. While English was not his first language, he made a real effort to be of service. However, awful coffee, a broken espresso machine, snail-paced service, along with a brutal death march through security, made this a terrible finale to a terrific trip to NYC.
