Really nice korean lady listened to me talk about how stressed out I was recently with exams and moving. She picked out opi wicked for me since I was so indecisive. Really enjoyed her presence and our chat. She didn’t judge my poorly kept nails, further destroyed by lifting lots of boxes and biting. Didn’t even accept tip saying it was my first time there! Sheesh coming back DEF. And tipping well from now on!

My go-to! I am a regular here, I even keep a box with my own tools here. They are friendly and chatty and always ask how you are, what you are doing. I always leave feeling fresh clean and relaxed!

Please Don’t judge me. I am going to give a guys view on this. My friend is getting married this coming weekend and his fiancée wanted us to look sharp and groomed since I am one of his groomsman. So she paid for our facial hair waxing to be done. Let me tell you, I can finally relate to that 40 year old virgin scene where he’s screaming Owww Kelly Clarkson! The lady which was doing our waxing was nice and I have to say did a pretty good job. I would never do this, but since my boys fiancée wanted us to do it, I sucked it up. Overall it was a quick waxing and clean. Friendly service also. I didn’t feel like they were trying to get us in and out of there as quick as possible. But I also wasn’t doing nails or mani, pedis. And best part of it is that there is parking! Oh I love it when there’s parking available.

Wanted to try a new salon, Annie’s has good reviews so I decided to try it. Gotta say I was disappointed. Pedi lasted about 15min and was not relaxing. Mani was bad as well, had little bubbles on all my nails. Felt like they wanted me in and out of there. Definately wont go back.

I had stopped over there earlier today for a regular manicure, list price $ 7. I was in this area for car repairs, so hey I had time to kill. Anyhow, I saw they offered a shellac polish that is supposed to last up to 14 days at $ 35 I said why not, let see if it lives up to expectations. The ladies were nice, there were 4 pedi soak areas and the service was attentive, no frills environment. Offered a list of services at reasonable rates, if you have time to kill and are in this area, this place is worthwhile stopover for nails.

Great service, friendly ladies, and the job always gets done with polish and neatness. My manicures normally last about 2 weeks before they begin chipping, unless I start biting away at my nails. Even when it’s busy I don’t have to wait too long — and if I have to wait the ladies make sure I at least get to see on the pedicure chairs, soak my feet and get a chair massage. The prices are more than reasonable, especially for this end of Queens. I’ve gotten my nails done here for many milestone occasions, including my prom, graduation, engagement, and wedding and my nails always look good after a visit here.

I can count on my one hand the amount of times I’ve had my nails done, but every single time, it’s been at Annie Nail Salon, including my prom! :o All of the women in here are very nice and seem genuinely interested in carrying on conversations with customers, not simply getting the job done. I’ve only ever gotten my nails painted, nothing fancy like tips, but everything always came out nice and neat and stayed for awhile despite my disregard for daintiness. Pedicures are equally relaxing and come out well. Upon leaving, I’ve even had my huge, embarrassing coat zipped up and buttoned for me, a strike of hospitality that was nice and amusing at the same time. If you’re in the neighborhood(and you probably aren’t), check this place out. I cannot remember the prices but never recall anything crazy.
