One of those hidden gems you will occasionally stumble upon even in a remote burg like College Point in a commercial strip which seems to be a black hole for new businesses. The taqueria portion is a miniscule hole in the wall tended to by a gregarious hard working cook who gives all appearances of knowing his way around a serious Mexican griddle. From humble yet yummy carnitas tacos and other antojitos to the glory that is the chorizo cemita, its all produced quickly with somewhat of an eye to putting on a show, and at modest prices.
Ah to have such a place in my beloved Pernt and not have to trek to Corona or Bushwick. Now to convince them to add some veggie options.
