I’ve been to Ed’s a few times, over the course of my years at st. John’s. The books here are usually less expensive than the ones you’ll find in the school book store so that’s a plus. Ed and all the workers here are very friendly and are always willing to help you find a book. They offer a 10% discount for stj students and they even print up a little receipt for you. It’s not as big as the school book store but usually the professors have them order the book and they warn you that it’s here. I’ve never come to Ed’s with out a professor telling me the book is here. so I don’t know if you can just stroll in and find stuff that you need. I think they mostly just have what the professors tell them to order. Whatever though. It’s worth going in if your professor tells you the text book is here. They are nice and cheaper(BUTNOTCHEAP) than the school one. Always a pleasant experience at Ed’s.

anything that deals w/st john’s sucks!!! they are trying to rip students off. I think they have some agreement w/st john’s because the textbooks that they sell are not available at the bookstore in st john’s. I wonder how much percentage they give to st john’s and because of that students are force to pay more than what they are suppose to pay.

Great customer service, great prices. Well, okay, prices aren’t great. But, they are lower than the St. John’s bookstore, and sometimes lower than Amazon. If you want a real bargain, you’d be shopping for used books on Amazon or . In any case, Ed’s a real nice guy, I was in a bind for a Civil Procedure book and he let me pay for it over the phone, and he let a friend pick it up for me. Thanks Ed!
