This store never picks up the call. I placed an order through Unilocal and the order was never delivered and even after 10 calls none of the call was answered. I called back the next day and still no answer on the calls. I would give it a second thought if you do plan to place an order.

It’s great halal food restaurant. Their food are very delicious especially their tandoori chicken and szech noodles. The only thing they have to pay attention on their service desk. I am regular customer I ordered the food when I go there and it’s not ready.

Wow this place took a great toll. It was good when it first opened now just a bunch of untrained waitresses with an owner standing over them watching like a hawk. We were a group of 6 and considering there was no one there but us, the waitress asked where we wanted to seat. We chose the booths to sit comfortably. We had just opened the menus and the owner ran over to tell us that the table has been reserved and to move. Let’s back track to early today, I called and the same person told us they don’t accept reservations. Special treatment for others I guess. Whatever not a big deal. We waited for the rest of our friends to arrive while browsing through the menus. They arrived moments later and we ordered a couple of appetizers including 2 Kai Chi, 1 Chicken Lollipop, 1 Chicken Fried Momos and a couple of soups. The Kai Chi and Chicken Lollipop was pre-fried drenched in oil. Chicken Momos were good but sadly only had 5 pieces. The soups were okay. Soups should be served piping hot not room temperature in my opinion. No wonder why everything was coming out so quick. We also ordered 2 chicken dishes and 2 beef dishes served with white rice. I’m not such a big fan of white rice so we ordered a Pineapple Fried Rice(came in a bowl not a pineapple as shown in the picture in the menu) which the pineapple of watery out of a can and warmed up and a Spicy Fried Rice which was the best out of everything considering it was hot(temperature and spicy wise) I forgot to add the Coriander Garlic Beef we got wasn’t cooked properly and was returned immediately. The Chili Chicken was bland and tasted like corn starch. The General Tso’ Beef was made with a sweet bbq sauce. Barely anyone ate any of the dishes except the Schezuan Chicken which was made to perfection. Overall, IndoChi has fallen down the gutter in the couple of months of opening. Meanwhile our stay there was for 2 hours all inclusive and they only had one table of 3 who came in after us and left before us. Guess they didn’t find it appetizing either. A special thank you to the owner who has no customers coming in at all. WILLNEVERBEGOINGBACK! I suggest you do not as well.

What set this restaurant apart was its stellar service, the employees were very accomadating because we needed a place to pray and it was our iftaar so they brought spring rolls and dates for us to break our fast. When the food came it out we were very excited. The noodles were full of flavor and the sizzling beef was sizzling good! I would recommend to everyone I know! :-)

Another Indo-chinese fusion place that lacks flavor and authenticity. Service was okay, but the food was just mediocre.

I would not call this place an Asian fusion restaurant. I would think of it more like a KFC/Pizza Hut but instead sells Thai and Indian food. The waiter had a deer-in-the-headlights look after every order we placed. A few times while we there they absolutely blasted dance music uncomfortably loud for long periods of time. The sauce for the lollipop chicken and green chicken curry looked toxic with the radiant orange and green colors. Overall this place literally left a bad taste in our mouths.

We love Chinese Indian food! We were just driving around the area & when we saw a sign that says Chinese Indian food, we just had to check it out. The staff were polite & friendly. The service was good but wish our waitress were a bit more attentive. The food was good but not great. We definitely had better Chinese Indian food elsewhere. We got the chicken lollipop, the Hakka noodles, the chicken chili, & the veggie manchurian. The one that we love about Chinese Indian food is the strong flavor & it’s spicy. The food here did not have enough flavor & definitely not spicy enough. We had to ask the waitress for some hot sauce. The chicken lollipop is just a bit too greasy. The portion is good. It’s not huge but heavy. We were stuffed. All total, we spent about $ 40. If you’re interested in trying some Chinese Indian food but couldn’t handle spicy stuff, this place is worth stopping by. If you like spicy food, you’ll definitely be disappointed with the food here.

Parking meters are broken on street and will not print your receipt… The parking police dude gave us a ticket anyway and said just take a picture that you paid… So now I have to pay the meter twice for proof?

Nice place and good service. The food was also very good. It was a bit cold when i was there, it was a cold winter though so not sure how much that had to do with it. 4 stars and will be back.

The food and service was great! My favorites were the lollipop chicken with chillies, hariyala chicken, malai chicken, some beef dish… sorry cant remember the name and garlic chicken. They are a must! The garlic naan was really good as well. The staff was extremely nice and the place was very clean. Can’t wait to try more!

First time here and I have a few comments 1. Visually the place is very nice. You can tell everything is newly renovated. The location is really smart . 2. The service is wonderful. The waitress that served us was very sweet and kind. But regarding the dressing attire I do wish they were more properly dress and not messy? Especially since it’s not a fast food restaurant and is relatively a «fancy restaurant». Also I would prefer if the waiters would refill out water glasses more often instead of being asked to. 3. The food is okay. It had potential. But there are improvements that need to be made. For appetizer I had Crispy honey chicken– it was good, a bit too much sauce for me but it was good. Lollipop chicken– reminds me of the lolipop chicken from Taipan, but it was realllly salty. Also there was pieces of soggy chicken skin coming off of it. So it either needs to be deep fried for longer or trim that off. Also the batter was falling off. So I don’t think it fried enough. But overall the flavor was good. But the soggy chicken skin fat and batter falling off needs to be changed. For the actual meals i tried : Garlic chicken– good flavor but it’s more sweet and there was much garlic flavor. The sauce was thicker then expected. Like really thick sauce General Tso chicken– REALLY sweet. Needs and it had cauliflower and broccoli im it? I thought that was an odd combo. The sauce was extremely thick as well. It was like a thick soup sauce with chunks of broccoli, cauliflower and chicken. The sauce was pretty similar to the garlic chicken Sizzling chicken– this was actually really good. It literally came out the kitchen sizzling like crazy. Steaming everywhere. And the flavor was really good. Out of everything I’ve tried this was my favorite. Thai rice(the name was something of the sort) — this was flavorful too. Nothing to say bad about this.

I have lived in this neighborhood my entire life. As a child, the best place to eat was at a classic-styled Chinese restaurant near Aguilar Gardens. Imagine this: large round tables, lazy suzans, waiters in suits, lots of red and velour. It was the sort of place had to visited as a child, you too would never forget. Fast forward thirty years: the only«real» places to eat in this neighborhood are Oneness Fountain Health, Valentino’s Pizzeria, McDonalds, Mela’s café.(Four places that couldn’t be more different from one another!) So you can imagine my surprise at a fusion Indian/Chinese/Pakistani restaurant in this neighborhood… Still. I hesitated to walk in. This section of Kissena – with it’s fried chicken spot, check-cashing spot, pet-spot, Dominican-spot, and its four bodegas – is not a place you would ever imagine going to eat at, unless you want over-priced Dominican food or fried chicken. Even the two biggest draws of the neighborhood, National Wholesale Liquidators and Microcenter, have decided not to have doors facing Kissena because it’s, well, dark and uninviting. So I finally go in. The décor is a little, well, different. I appreciate the fake exposed brick. Absolutely LOVE the USB charger outlets on the walls. And, I’m more OK with the color purple than most people I know! We were promptly served by a courteous waitress who knew what to suggest from the menu as an appetizer. She brought us water without a bunch of ice in it(the pitcher she used has a frozen core! I know four-star restaurants that don’t even know how to do this!) and she even brought us sparkling water.(I believe it was Soda-streamed water, but who cares, this is so much better than regular tap water!) The food: I don’t know a thing about Indian/Chinese Halal fusion food… It was Indian food with more sweet and spice; it was Chinese food with more spice… Rice was Jasmine instead of Basmati. It was great. I’ve eaten at a half dozen worse Chinese places in downtown Flushing. And this Indian food was better than anything I’ve ever had in over fifteen years eating on 6th Avenue in Manhattan. I had an Indian-influence Szechuan mixed vegetables and my wife had a fried tofu dish. Maybe there’s hope for Kissena…

Food was great! We were a large party of 26 and we got to taste many of the dishes both Indian & Chinese. I personally liked the spice level, not too hot not too mild. One of our friends can’t digest garlic so the chef took the extra time to create something special for him(which took a little longer but understandable). The owner also came around to each table to make sure we were taken care of. Only bad thing I can say is that there wasn’t really a variety of drinks, however they’re new and just opened so I’m hoping they’ll start stocking the offering more. Def going back!

I’ve been waiting for months for this place to open, so I was very excited to try their food. A little disappointed because I was expecting a larger selection of Indian food. However, I have a little cold today so decided to order something non-spicy from their lunch specials. I got a take out order of sweet and sour chicken and a side order of garlic naan. The lunch special comes with a choice of soup and vegetable fried rice. I got my corn soup which is good flavored, and has lots of chunks of chicken breast meat in it. The sweet and sour chicken was drenched with heavy sauce… too sweet and too salty. I didn’t finish it. Also to my surprise, they gave me white rice instead of the vegetable fried rice as promised. Since I’ve already gotten home by the time I found out, I wasn’t going to argue about it. Lastly, the garlic naan was very flavorful and garlicky, but way too greasy. Looked like they just took it out from the frying oil. Anyway, I intend to come back to dine in one day and try their tempting desserts and juices!
