Always have a great time shooting pool on Tuesday night pool league. The Ruben is awesome!!!

Lots of live music here, but when it’s super crowded during the summer or on weekends don’t expect attentive service. We go to the bar to stand in line for drink orders, or try to squeeze into the bar stools and flag down a bartender. The appetizers are very good and we enjoy coming to our little downtown to listen to a band play a set or two and have a drink here.

The new management has really turned this place around. There new staff is friendly and personable. The menu has a great variety and daily specials. The renovation they’ve done so far are great. They added a nice arcade for kids and adults and also automatic scoring bring the bowling lanes up to date. The live music I’ve seen there as been good for the local area and there Dj plays what the people want.

I’m only giving this place a 5 star review for the food, the rest of the place is questionable. Erin is one of the cooks there and makes the food spot on. The pizza we ordered was delicious. If you’re looking a fancy ambiance this is not your place, they have no a/​c and it needs updating inside, the bathrooms are gross but the food is why we come.

Not like the same old jacks but, before it was the strongest drink in town. Had a beer this time so not sure if that has changed but, it’s a Flushing tradition for sure!
