Mango Mango Dessert

The food here is definitely on point if you really like mangos. My favorite drink is the mango slush that comes with coconut milk.
However the reason that this mango mango is only getting 3 stars is because of how bad their service was. I understand that our table had 6 orders so that it might take a while for them to serve us, but one of my friends ordered the same exact thing as another, but she had to wait an extra 30 + minutes for her order to come as we’re all finishing up our dessert. The table that came in and got seated after us had already gotten what seems to be their whole order. My friend ordered one of the mango ice cream sundaes which isn’t even hard to make.
I don’t understand what took them so long when the rest of our orders were fine. They didn’t even say sorry but kept making excuses.

Satisfied my taste buds for mango cravings? Maybe 60%

Things i like about it:
— mango crêpe cake — very very creamy but good, the mango is different from the other desserts’ mango, and the crêpe wrap is a little tough but acceptable

Very Refreshing! My friend raved about this place, and during our NYC trip, he requested to have this 4x/​2days. I gotta say it was delicious. They use lots of real mangos and I love it! The MANGO DRINK has just the right amount of mango, coconut and maybe sweet syrup at the bottom. Be sure to mix the drink!
They have their drinks and desserts on display so you know what you’re getting (at this location at least). I’ll definitely come back and try their other items next time!

This place serves many different desserts with mango, and so far all the items that my wife and I have tried are amazing! It does taste very fresh and is served fairly quick.
This Mango Mango is located inside the New York Food Court, where there are many other Chinese food vendors. This is the only dessert vendor there is in this food court. They only accept cash, so definitely bring that otherwise you won’t be able to order anything.
The must try is the mango crêpe cake. Each layer is perfectly made and each bite, you’ll be able to savor and taste the layers of mango crêpe. I think it is very comparable to Lady M crêpe cakes but in Mango form. But then again, I’ve only had Lady M once.
Definitely give this place a try, if not for the crêpe cake, there are other desserts like ice cream, drinks, and many more.

Such high hopes for this spot yet I just have to give them an average review. In theory from all their colorful menu items, I’m expecting a huge bang of mango flavor in everything, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The mango snow slushie I got was just ok. Best thing about it were the small mango chunks in there, but the flavor and sweetness were highly lacking. The «medium» in reality is a small; I was really expecting a typical medium bubble tea size. Wifey got the Snow White — It ended up being bland soupy mango topped off with bitter pomelo that doesn’t pair very well. They also didn’t have mango ice cream as well so we substituted for coconut ice cream, which was flavorless again. Really considering whether or not to give this place another shot or move on.

I got the mango juice sago with pomelo and ice cream. It’s a bit small for the price ($ 5.95), but very delicious. The mango chunks were all high-​quality (no stringy or sour bits), and the juice meshed with the sago pearls very smoothly. The pomelo added an extra touch of tartness to complete the dessert.

Nothing special just mangos mangos and more mangos,
But nothing special done with it not worth coming back to it.

Its located in a very busy food court, but we were able to find seats due to the high turnover of people.
This place, as the name suggests, sells many mango related desserts. They offer combos to try. However they do NOT sell mango shaved ice, which is what I was craving.
1. Mango snow: this came with mangos and red bean on top. Quite good but not my favorite of the Combo that I got.
2. Mango tapioca pudding: this was actually quite good! It’s sweet but not too sweet. It’s perfect to share.
3. Mango Mochi: everyone’s favorite, surprisingly. It had just the right amount of flavor and had excellent texture.
4. Mango waffles: we got it with green tea ice cream. The waffles were done well and overall another great dish to share. I’d recommend this dish to offer some flavor variety from the mushy and gooey desserts that are offered in the combos.
Just be aware that they make you put down a deposit for the dishes and bowls they give you. I guess people steal them…

Mango Mango is one of my main dessert places just because i’m a big mango fan and love everything mango. They offer a student deal so make sure to have your student ID on you. If you are looking for some things to order, look down at the other reviews because I’m sure you’ll find something intriguing in them.
This review is mainly a rant and comment about the service. So my family and I came here with my family who was visiting from out of town. My cousin ordered her desserts and when the desserts finally came out, the wrong stuff came out. My cousin kindly told the guy working there and he insisted that that is what she ordered. My cousin ordered the damn dessert, how are you going to tell her she ordered something else. If it’s a miscommunication problem then fine. I’ve worked in customer service businesses and if there is a problem with a customer, you fix it. You don’t argue with them or give them an attitude and say you won’t change their damn order. I don’t know the guy’s name, but learn some damn manners and how to actually work behind a counter instead of being an a**&$%# who gives a first time customer a hard time. Needless to say, I hope that guy gets fired.
This one star is for the service. If we didn’t have such a bad experience then I would’ve given this place more stars.
You’re better off going to the other Mango Mango location by queens crossing instead of this one located inside the food court.

I love mangoes and I love mango mango.
I come here often. It’s located in a food court mall. There are a lot of different little stores inside but I usually go straight to mango mango.
I get the Snow White mango slush-​o. If you show your student ID, you get a free upgrade!

Not bad! Towards the back corner of a food court in Flushing you will find a little dessert shack serving asian dessert goodies featuring… mango! In case you don’t notice the store name and bright orange colors, you will definitely notice the copious amount of mango in all of their offerings. There’s sago, juice, ice cream, you name it! All with a healthy dose of mango, of course.
I tried the mango juice with sago and mango ice cream (they didn’t have any more mango ice cream, so I just subbed it with green tea ice cream). And it wasn’t bad, though it wasn’t fantastic either since it was slightly melted by the time I started eating/​drinking it. You definitely taste the mango!

Mangos are my favorite! One of my to-​go places for desserts. I always order the snow white mango slush-​o because it’s just that great ;) Their desserts are definitely better than Kulu’s. Show them a student ID and you get a free upgrade to a large! They also have a loyalty card; purchase 10 items and get the next one free. It’s great if you keep coming back.

Why oh why do we not have this in DMV yet?! Especially in Rockville where you’ll find plenty of Chinese foodie places. I can only hold my breath till someone catches on and opens a little café that hosts all sorts of yummy Canto desserts such as the many choices at Mango Mango dessert.
The café is located right inside a food court that looked like a simple store front on the outside, but much bigger when walking in. They have so many choices that it was hard to make the right one providing that we only had short few hours left in Flushing before headed back to MD. This just gives me all the more reason to head back soon enough and try out more on the menu.
There is one caveat which I should be used to that by now is that they don’t take credit cards. I do find it odd nowadays that restaurants don’t take them. That’s the only thing I would change about the place to provide more ease for customers.
Must try if you’re in the area!

I love mangos. I love desserts. When I saw this Mango Mango inside the food court, my heart started leaping for joy. I heard so much about their Chinatown location but since it’s a bit out of the way for me, I never had the chance to try their desserts… until now!
I got their Combo A which came with a mango bowl, mango slush, and mango mochi. My favorite was the big bowl of mango juice with mango pieces, pomelo, and mango ice cream. Sadly, I realized that I ran out on cash and couldn’t afford to pay for the $ 3 deposit on the glass bowl (very heartbreaking epiphany) so I got it in a plastic to-​go bowl instead. I also loved the Snow White mango slush that came with the Combo but couldn’t finish the mango mochi. Glutinous rice with mango just doesn’t taste as good as it sounds (or looks).
Next time, Combo B! And I’m checking my wallet for cash before I head out since it’s cash only!

Asian desserts (namely sweet soup) in Flushing has really come a long way, my earliest memory of Asian dessert in Flushing was from Sweet-​N-​Tart (yes I am really dating myself here but the Flushing crowd should know what I’m talking about). They weren’t particularly tasty but at least you got a spot to hang out at.
Fast forward 10 years, the dessert game in Flushing is finally blooming with flavor and varieties to boast and when there’s competition, there’s good desserts to be found. so I’m extremely happy to hear the opening of Mango Mango in Flushing!
Mango Mango Dessert is all about MANGO (hence the name!) so if you don’t like mango, you been warned!
The place is located inside the New York Food Court (it’s in a food court so you know– dress super casual) on Roosevelt Ave, between Prince Street and College Point Blvd, it’s on the way to Skyview Mall from Main street.
Parking: Oh Flushing Flushing Flushing, why must you be so congested all the time? Your best bet here is the 3 hour free Skyview Mall Parking. I will strongly recommend public transportation (7 train) if you plan to come during the weekends because driving in Flushing during weekends = CRAY
My friends and I came here on a Sunday night around 8pm and there was a short line, which is always a good sign!
After staring at the menu for too long, we indecisively decided to go with Combo A which is:
Snow White Slush-​O + Mango Juice with Sago and Pomelo and 3 fresh mango Mochi. in addition, we also ordered the Strawberry Mango Juice w/​Sago and Lychee Jelly.
Both the Snow White Slush-​O and Mango Juice with Sago and Pomelo are their signature items here so naturally if you don’t know what you want, go with combo A.
Btw, as many have mentioned, it’s $ 3 deposit for bowls, so MAKE SURE YOU DON’T THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY!
My two favorites that night were:
The Snow White Slush-​O is a drink with combination of Mango juice/​Coconut milk slush, Sago topped with chucks of mango on top. The mango juice and coconut milk marinated so well together and the soft yet chewy sago added an additional texture to the juice/​milk combo. The super fresh, ripped mango is really just the icing on the cake. It’s refreshing, not overly sweet (good balance from the sago/​creaminess of the coconut milk) and perfect on a hot summer day or night! MUST TRY!!!
Mango Juice with Sago and Pomelo is very similar to the Snow White Slush-​O with the substitution of the Coconut milk slush for milk with the addition of Mango ice cream and Pomelo. Pomelo is just a citrus fruit that taste like grapefruit so no worries it’s not something unusual but it plays a big part in the dessert because it balance out the sweetness and creaminess from the milk/​mango and ice cream. The dessert is delicious and refreshing, the ice cream is creamy, smooth and eat it with the mango juice and milk, it’s really a mango flavor overload! MUST GET!
Service: Cashiers were friendly and the line moved pretty quickly, it did take some time for us to get our desserts but there are plenty of seats there so it’s no biggie.
Price: CHEAP– Most desserts here are around $ 3-​$ 5 and the Combo A is just $ 11, well worth it if you have a group of people that just want a small taste of everything!
Overall: Enjoyed my experience here at Mango Mango, the location is excellent (short walk from Skyview Mall), the desserts were tasty, affordable with plenty of seating– made this the ideal location for an after dinner dessert gathering spot in Flushing!

Located inside a shopping center so if you look for the Mango Mango sign, you won’t ever find it.
Employees were friendly and helpful, not rushing me to make a decision on my order while I was still searching for the menu.
$ 3 ‘deposit’ for bowls when eaten at the shop. You will get your $ 3 back as long as you return the bowls, etc. I had them box mine to go and just ate there to avoid the hassle.
Ice cream was good. Surrounded by mango juice and diced mango as well as the sweetened rice balls. I really liked it and would absolutely go agin if I’m ever in the neighborhood.

Dessert in Flushing! There are so many choices for dessert in Flushing, but I was glad that this was the one that I had last night. The cashier was a very nice girl who helped us to understand the menu choices, since my friends had been there before, but I hadn’t.
Their main dishes are mainly fresh fruit dishes with crushed ice, different juices, and varieties of rice balls, fruit balls, sago, and ice cream. (Sago is usually made from the spongy center of tropical palm plants, but I think when they say sago, it’s just the very little tapioca balls. That is my guess anyways, as I think it looks a little less translucent in the indian dishes I’ve tried with it.) They also have juices, smoothies with fresh fruit pieces, crepes, a mille crêpe that is special right now, and some other baked things that I haven’t tried yet.
The three dishes we ordered were all of the fresh fruit, crushed ice, juices, and different additives variety. We ordered the snowy white juice with sago, mango, and pomelo; the mango on mango with mango ice cream and pomelo; and the watermelon balls, with rice balls, and mango with mango juice.
They were all very fresh tasting, probably loaded with sugar… but ridiculously light feeling. I felt like I could keep eating and ordering at least a few more rounds. Asian desserts are dangerous!!!
Logistics, there is a three dollar deposit for the dishes. It is not a charge. They return it to you when you return the dishes. The place is inside a food court. That means you have to fight for a table, and probably sit where there are noodle strands and strange splatters in places. Grab napkins and wipe things down so you don’t get surprised later. There are punch cards for people who come regularly. Things move fast enough. It isn’t super fast or super slow service… it really depends on what you order since they make things to order. Honestly, It felt like being in taiwan and just snacking on the street. I will be back!

Came here for dessert after lunch at Mogu with friends. My friends ordered:
–something with mango, jelly bobas, & red bean
–green tea ice cream with chocolate swirl wafers
–waffle sandwich with ice cream n powder sugar
And I had a banana n Nutella crêpe with a scoop of mango ice cream.
I didn’t try theirs. so can’t comment on them. But my dessert was pretty good. Really liked the flavor & consistency of the mango ice cream. Simple crêpe. Can’t really mess that up. I’ll probably be back during the summer.
$ 3 for the tray/​cup was weird. I’d understand if they gave us expensive glass cups and silverware. but the cups/​plates were cheap plastic. –_​– oh well. no big deal.

Debated about whether this place was worth reviewing… but the cashier was nice enough, the dessert sweet enough, and the dude in the back rude enough to warrant a short blurb.
These are basically sweet asian desserts that remind my little sib about a place called Tasty Sweety (closed) but apparently at a more expensive price. The desserts are pretty standard asian, fruity, icy fare. I read in another review that the mangos are from cans, so I guess it’s not all too fresh? I’m not sure how they know. But the dessert with watermelon is «seasonal» so I assume that there is at least some freshness standard (or perhaps just price conscientiousness).
The cashier is super sweet and accommodating. I asked if I could customize some desserts and she didn’t think it would be a problem as long as I pay an extra $ 0.50. Fine with me, but apparently the dude in the back making the desserts had a hard time grasping the concept of substituting one scoop of X for a scoop of Y (namely rice balls instead of grass jelly). After some smiles and pleading from both me AND the cashier… he reluctantly acquiesced to our unreasonable demands. Whew*
Last note: credit cards are not accepted and there is a $ 3 deposit, refunded upon return of their dessert ware.
