I have been coming here for years. I LOVE falafel. For me, it is the ultimate comfort food. Great falafel, great tahina sauce… I want one now. At times, the lettuce seems a bit wilted. Yet, I will return and return and return. Friendly service too. My only other criticism is that the place could use a sprucing up. However, it’s all about the falafel.

The only place I trust with amazing falafel! I recently ate there and took 2 whole falafels to go for the next day. They are very kind with the quantity. Whenever my aunt visits this place — she brings back 15 – 20 falafels for the whole family! 5 stars!

The falafels are excellent, I recommend humus on them as well. The pizza is good, the cheese boreccas are great(there are two types, get the imported), they have a nice mozzarella pretzel and they serve Fresca! LoL Now, for the«Be All, End All» observation… there white pizza is the best I’ve ever had, period!

I’ve been coming to this place since I was a kid and is always a delight. I have had plenty of memories driving into Queens heading to JFK airport before and after and trip and always stopping here, a tradition I still continue to this day. This is where I fell in love with falafels and after 20+ years of going to this place, it still looks and feels the same and still tastes great. Their falafels are the definition of what a falafel should be. The pizza is also great. Absolutely worth a stop in.

The falafel is delicious and so are all the fresh salads they have. The atmosphere is very basic as the price of the food is super reasonable. They have excellent assortment of juices and you can eat dinner for approximately $ 10 to $ 15 per person. They are accommodating and will make suggestions based on how many people are in your party. Try the bakery next door they have great cakes too!

Best falafel in Queens period! I always stop by when I am in the area. Lots of places make falafel, but few get it right. The balls need to have a little crunch to them and Naomi’s gets it right. A word of warning though. Don’t take it out. The falafel balls will get soggy and the sauce will get all over you. Eat in and enjoy!

Best pizza and falafel!!! Whenever I’m around I take a trip to naomis. I’ve tried almost everything they serve and I have a few favorites. The pizza is absolutely fantastic. They also make a really good cheese borekas. The falafel is like no other. Crispy, flavorful and absolutely satisfying. My mouth waters just thinking about it. The atmosphere makes it feel like a family gathering and there is a regular following that I see when I’m in there. This place knows how to do it right! Highly recommended!

This well-beloved eatery had been sitting quietly in my bookmarks for a few months since the moment I discovered it sits scant minutes from my house. I finally decided to pay them a visit today, figuring I’d drop in, grab a few falafels to go, and be on my merry way. To assume I’d be in and out within a few minutes was, I later realized, a gross underestimation of this restaurant’s popularity. I was both amused and slightly dismayed to see that this small pizza and falafel joint was solely responsible for a gaggle of double-parked cars and a line that practically stretched out the door. Lines like these always piqué my interest because if you find New Yorkers on a queue, you’re sure as hell going to find something worth waiting for at the front of it. Sighing resignedly, I got on the back of the line and proceeded to watch the tightly controlled chaos behind the counter — servers took orders and ran expertly around each other to fulfill each one. All the while, one guy stayed planted at the fryer. It would seem that his sole role was to shape, fry, and prep fresh falafel balls. Just watching him made my mouth water with anticipation, so that fifteen minutes later, when it was finally my turn, I ended up ordering WAY more than I originally intended: six falafel balls, a half falafel(meaning three falafel balls with veggies and a smattering of tahini sauce), and — on a truly gluttonous whim — an order of french fries. It was hugely gratifying to watch everything come fresh out of the fryer, which was why I was slightly confused that my first bite of Naomi’s falafel should be curiously soft and even dense, not crunchy. Slightly oversalted and surprisingly white in color(both inside and outside), these were far from the best falafels I’ve ever had because I personally prefer mine verdant, hinting at the use of greens and herbs in the mix. However, these were also light years away from the dark-chocolate hues of overfried falafels you find at the random halal carts — these are clearly fresh and extremely tasty. The fries were just as one might expect — scaldingly hot, crispy, and totally unsalted, which I appreciated after several saline bites of the falafels. Unlike the vast majority of Unilocalers before me, I found the ‘half falafel’ to be just all right, for the taste, proportions, and general fussiness of eating. The falafels were buried deep into the pita pocket, with the salad and tahini thrown on top, so that the top bites were all salad while the bottom bites were naked falafels. Everything became disassembled as I ate, leaving me with a bit of a mess on my lap and my face by the end of it all. Still, I’m no dainty eater and I was generally happy with my meal, as must have been nearly half of Queens(or so it seemed) as they crowded the narrow restaurant with their appetites. If you decide to make a visit, give yourself ample time to wait on line and for heaven’s sake, don’t make the line worse by not ignoring the clear and ample«CASHONLY» signs like one woman did today by insisting«But you took my card just last week!» On behalf of everyone else waiting behind you, I beg of you — Don’t be that idiot. Go to the bank first.

My favorite falafel sandwich. Good. Not bitter. Not too crunchy or too mushy. And filled the brim with the balls. Mmm balls! The sauces are good. Hot sauce by condiment bar. It’s kosher so closed on Friday nights and Jewish holidays, just to save you a trip if you plan to check it out. It’s been around forever. Like since I was a fetus. Mmmm fetus!(Sue me. I’m a hard-core foodie). It’s the pizza my mom had when she was pregnant and just had to have pizza on Xmas. Poor dad had to drive around to find a pizza place opened. I don’t think they ever renovated either. Oh, Pizza is not bad here either! Two separate lines btw. One for pizza, one for the other stuff.

I haven’t tried their pizza yet since I can get good pizza in a lot of places, but not many places serve falafels as good as here. I like to come here and get two falafel sandwiches which makes for a coma inducing lunch. Then I add some of the free hot sauce(scoop it yourself) to wake me up. Most people order either the pizza or the falafels, but there is a refrigerated case full of interesting spreads(babaganoush, etc.) that you can buy. Really good and cheaper than you can get at the supermarket.

The falafel is really good and is also fresh because it seems like they sell a ton of it. Get the tahini sauce on the side though so your sandwich isnt swimming in it. tons of seating. On street parking. definitely recommended.

Come here for taste. If you are looking for a fine dinning experiences, go some place else. As a good friend of mine would say, this is «real» food with plenty of «character« If you are looking for atmosphere like some of the new places that have opened up in Manhattan, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for the best Falafel in New York, you will be pleased. While bigger than a hole in the wall, its 1970’s décor is stuck in time. Simple beat up table, counters, and signage. Credit cards? Wifi? Waiter service? Forget about it. Many of the other customers are pushy, obvious, and sometimes downright rude, but as I mentioned above, its all part of its character. The ridiculous(but practical) plastic spatula teathered to the bathroom key is classic. No way you are gonna walk out of the place carry that around by mistake. The staff is quick and friendly enough. If you ask for extras or condiments to be put on the side, I think they charge you extra, but the prices quiet reasonable, so who cares. If you want to attempt to eat your pita without making a big mess of yourself, order two halves, as its a bit easier to manage. They charge a bit extra(which I find amusing, others no doubt consider sacrilege), but it all adds to the character. Bottom line, come hear for the taste. I am always tempted to eat more than I really need to, as its so delicious. The hummus and falafel balls are out classic and made to perfection. I like that they have whole wheat pitas.

Came in with my parents(who were visiting from out of town) for an afternoon snack. We each got a slice and then shared some delicious garlic knot/roll that had zhatar and cheese in it. The pizza was good, I’ve had better but it was great for a slice! The garlic knot/roll was DELICIOUS. I should have ordered another. The cheese was gooey, the zhatar gave it a level of flavor not normal found in any old garlic knot. Ambiance is lacking. There is additional seating towards the back, but no one comes around to wipe down the tables or throw away any additional garbage. Service was quick, and they got things heated up quickly. I’ll be back.

Falafal is great! Pizza is alright… But being the best falafal place in flushing, ambience is little sad… place is fine to just eat n leave… Nothing attractive to actually sit and enjoy eating… I personally feel that ambience does affect your over all good experience.

This restaurant is about a 20 minute walk away from Queens College. I was here on a Friday afternoon with my boyfriend. I waited on line for about 20 minutes to place my order. Of course, I was losing a bit of my patience for waiting this long to place my order(–1 star). This restaurant should have hired more employees to serve food. I ordered two falafel sandwiches, a coke and a cream soda = $ 12.50. Definitely a good price for what we got! Each falafel sandwich came with about 5 falafels. It had lettuce in it drizzled with sauce that tasted like sesame. Delicious! One falafel was so filling, it kept me full for the rest of the day. I didn’t even feel like having dinner. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you happen to be in the neighborhood.

Been coming here for about ~10 years. Pizza is also good, among with the falafel. Downfalls are is cash only, and charge for you every little thing. Amazing red hot sauce! Can anyone reverse engineer it?
