Rouvelas Helen, MD

Dr. Rouvelas is a wonderful person, kind, warm and friendly. She is an excellent doctor. My children who are very particular with doctors love her. She always sings different cartoons songs to them while examining them, always gives them stickers. She references Cinderella, Jasmine and all the other Disney princesses when checking their ears, nose and throat. They are always smiling coming into her office and coming out. She has the heart of a child and relates very well to children. This makes her the perfect choice for a pediatrician. Sometimes she falls behind schedule, but that’s because she takes time with each patient. Some children need more time than she expects and I can appreciate that. Some people have complained about her staff on this website but they have always been very nice and friendly to me. They always get my referrals on time, fax them directly to the specialist and inform me when it has been done. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Helen Rouvelas. I’m sad I’m moving out of state and have to find a new doctor. We will truly miss her!

Helen Rouvelas is an excellent pediatrician. She definitely takes her time with the children. She is always packed, always because she’s a very good doctor obviously. She speaks Spanish and hey office is medium sized. Her staff isn’t the nicest always but it does get pretty crowded in there. You do have to wait a While to see her but its worth it.

Think twice before taking your precious child to this doctor. She is an uncaring and incompetent doctor. Incompetent because she prescribed a medication for my child that is not suited for children. She never is on time for her appointments, never returns phone calls, and I have caught her in numerous lies. She is uncaring because she refused to treat my child because I expressed my dissatisfaction with the manner in which she runs her practice. That’s right; she refused to treat a child with life threatening asthma. BEWARE!!!

It take too long to wait for this doctor-​almost 3 hours. She never ontime for her appointments and is always rushing you out the door. I take my child to another doctor.
