Shu’s Dental

Please avoid this dentist. I was referred by a friend and went for a regular check up, the doctor claimed that I have 4 cavity on each side of my teeth. After I got there for my scheduled appointment, it was a young female dentist who is going to fix up my teeth. She did two teeth on my upper right and lower right. HORRIBLE DENTIST. I was never afraid of going to dentist becuase I never really had any bad experience before. So… ya…I was in pain for over a month, my teeth became so sensitive and I was constantly in pain. The pain gets worse when i eat hot or cold food, and could not sleep well.
I was scheduled for another appointment for my upper left teeth. I went and told the dentist that I was still in pain, and she gave me some bullshit about pressure of the mouth can cause pain, and did some touch up that did not help with the pain at all. She then managed to screw up another teeth. After, when she tried to schedule me for the 4^th teeth I just laughed a walk away. Also, the filling of my lower right teeth fell out within few months…
Overall, just avoid this dentist and i feel like they just try to scam you for the insurance money, and hires inexerienced dentist to screw up your teeth…

Forgot to give this review an update but I had two check ups with a different dentist since last review and the dentist said I had no cavity at all and my teeth were clean. (Including the 4^th one that I saved from these scammers). −4÷08÷15

I hate going to the dentist. I am probably more screamish from the thoughts of drills and fillings than any shot on the arm. And let’s not even start with root canals and wisdom teeth extractions. So when I go to the dentist I want to be assured that I can still count on my teeth for my next meal.
So this review is for my first and second visit to Dr. Tim Shu’s dental office for a cleaning and filling respectively. Even before stepping into the office, I had a bad impression by their phone/​front desk receptionist. They are impatient on the phone and yell at each other behind the desk.
The office is a cluttered mess. I see boxes and tools stacked up around the dental chair. I have to maneuver myself like Jackie Chan just to get around and sit on it. Coats are placed in plastic bins because they don’t have hooks anywhere in the office. Also the floors are dirty and cracked.
I gave this place one extra star because the dentists do know what they are doing and surprisingly both the cleaning and filling were painless. The filling dentist also wanted to perfect my filling so she adjusted it like 3 times until I felt comfortable. I was also greeted with the news that I had a cavity in my wisdom tooth but she didn’t want to fill that one. Oh dear…
