This is the first time I tried this cleaner. This cleaner can’t even perform basic alterations. They destroyed my Tommy Hilfiger dress pants. I have never experienced this type of problem with any other alterations in the past 30 years. They gave me a lame excuse, that it’s normal to have some damage. DONOT go to this cleaner! Please see my pictures on the pants.

Excited to find a «new» dry cleaners opening in the area. Unfortunately, a favorite pair of work pants(owned for five years) became victim to irreparable damage. It was realized late as the it wasn’t visible due to the detailed cross pattern until I wore them and also after I had already given them another two pairs to clean. The damage was in small patches and very visible with what looked like scorch marks. From afar, it could look like a coffee spill. Brought it back to them not to complain or demand a refund but to just figure out what happened and whether it was repairable. The woman at the front desk was unfriendly, attempted to exam the damage and tries to convince me that it could be ironed out. She half-heartedly re-irons the pants and tried to convince me that it looks better(it doesn’t). Only until another customer walks in does she finally tell me she’ll go ahead and send it back to the shop where the cleaning is outsourced. Conclusion: Permanently damaged and the other two pairs I had sent in, returns with terrible creases. Of all the dry cleaners used in all the years in various boroughs, never have I experienced such shoddy work or service. What a shame.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Saying these owners are irresponsible is an understatement. I had my father’s white suit jacket dry cleaned here. They dry cleaned the jacket with a red colored clothing which bled onto the jacket. Then they decided it would be smart to wash the suit, causing it to be permanently ruined. It is wrinkled in the base layer and there is nothing they can do about it except reimburse me with $ 50. $ 50 for a $ 500+ jacket that was only worn once. Sounds about right. Absolutely ridiculous. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I seriously don’t know why people would want to go to this place. Stay the hell away! I really wish flushing would have a couple of more dry cleaners. This place will try to scam you. I came here because the next closest dry cleaner is a quoter mile away. Needed my winter jacket dry clean. The girl at the front ask for my info and knew I was a new customer, so here I knew I was in for something. After I took out the jacket that needed cleaning. She said its too dirty and need to charge me more, «2…3 dollars». I ask which one is it? 2 or 3 dollars and of cause she reply for the higher amount. First of all of course it’s dirty why would I want to clean a jacket that’s not dirty? Fine I’ll pay as long as I get quality in return then she try to charge the jacket as a wool jacket when it isn’t. Which is another 3 dollar more than the regular jacket whatever that means. Ok no problem I want my jacket to be clean. After a week I came back for my clothe. It wasn’t clean at all I’ve ask why it’s still dirty and her reply was«we clean it. Nothing else we can do». Forget it. Never again with these cunning service and that stupid cashier girl.

Why am I writing about the cleaners? Because my usual laundromat dry cleaning failed me. So I decided to come here for dry cleaning because they’ve been around for 20 years, they obviously know what they’re doing. The place is small, and can be easily missed, but they are very organized. They’ve a computer system for the register, I thought it was nice not having to re-give my info everytime, AND I get a nice printed receipt: D I can’t really compare pricing since I’m no dry cleaners expert, but it’s close to home, gets the job done, I can’t complain there~ There’s also a tailoring booth inside the store that opens through Sunday while the cleaners section is closed. *store sign says Marla Cleaners, but receipt says Sky View.
