All the bakeries in flushing have been upping their prices on bread and it seems that this place has kept them relatively low!
Sometimes I just crave the Chinese buns like pineapple topping bread and hot dog bun but paying more than $ 1.10 just feels like highway robbery!
All on all they have a decent selection and good prices! If your in the area stop in!

Three words: milk cream bun. Get them while they’re warm in the mornings.

Wow! I have been to many Chinese bakeries in my life and this one had the most amount of buns I have ever seen!!!
We ordered 15 pork buns to take home to friends and family. They weren’t ready yet, so we waited about 10 minutes. Worth the wait! They were fresh, steamy and delicious. At $ 1.10 a piece — you really can’t go wrong. My mom got a coffee but she said they made it too sweet.
Other than that, it was a clean bakery in Flushing. That’s worth 4 stars right there!

Great inexpensive bread. Most of the selection will run you 1 $ or 1.10 $. CHEAAAAP. What more can carb loving people ask for? My favorite ones are the
–milk cream buns which are like the Gai Mei Bao with coconut filling inside them.
–Cha siu bao pork buns
–hotdog bun that is cut up into four corners, –pineapple bun with cream filling.
I don’t know if people shy away from this place because it looks janky but I’m sold. Cash only.

Chicken pie is all you need to order.
The lady just came out with a tray out the oven and they were so deliciously flaky. Egg custards could use some work though.

When you say small coffee they really take it literal. It’s tiny and i know i said sugar but if it’s there i don’t know. The potato salad bun is mediocre no real flavor or anything special. The melon cake was pretty good but so flaky a third of it fell apart. I understand mornings are rush hour but workers don’t seem pleasant at least to me and I wasn’t rude or anything. It’s not horrible but been to better places with if not better personality at least better tasting food.

Its probably best to dine in rather than take out (so you can complain). My experience is really bad since I didnt get a chance to inspect what they gave me. On the display case they look good and fresh but what I brought home had mold greenish area in the middle, disgusting went straight to trash! Chocolate cake is a joke does not taste anything like chocolate, just tasted weird. Cake that is tad brown and they called it chocolate.
There is a different take on the cheesecake it tasted ok not too rich, probably trying to cut down on costs. (+1star on) Raisin bread loaf is good but could’ve been better with more raisins, and NO expiration date? SMH
+1 star coz prices are low. Cheap stuff, that’s it.

This bakery is okay, I tried one of the egg tarts here and found it to be so-​so. The crust around the egg tart wasn’t really up to par.

I love that they have everything all prewrapped and packaged up. I appreciate knowing that at least dust or people didn’t tamper with my bread. I can’t say for sure if it’s clean before it was wrapped or packaged up, but I haven’t gotten sick from eating their bread yet so thats a good sign.
I love their raisin bread and pork cutlet bun. Their breads are cheap as compare to fay da which is only two buildings down. I love going here after work around 6pm because they usually have a lot of leftover bread to sell, more than a lot of bakery does at that hour.

Good pastries. I like the coconut and raisins. The pork buns are good but a little light on the filling.

This isn’t the fanciest or high class bakery in flushing but it serves the BEST iced coffee ever. I had my shares of iced coffees from pretty much all over flushing and this one stands amongst the top contenders. Milky, creamy and delicious. A MUST get. Their buns are ok, nothing to rave about.

The bubble teas and cakes here are great. Though one time I ordered two bubble teas and I think they added sugar or sweetener to one but not the other. My honey dew was extra sweet that time but the taro was plain. I see them use fresh fruit, so I trust their ingredients for the most part. The cakes are delicious and not too pricey. Best of all, they sell the elusive Caramel Frappuchino from StarBucks.

I was a big fan of this place… until I saw the reality of things. I was having green tea, right after the opened, waiting for them to unload the rest of the buns out for the picking. Then… it happened, the baker was bringing a pan of dough ready to be baked… only to start hacking and coughing all over them! In plain view of us (because there’s a glass window where we can see everything), and to make things worse, this guy had a spit bucket in the area so after his coughing spell he hacked up what he was coughing and bent down across from the kneading area to spit it up! Sorry but… I decided green tea was all that I wanted on my list and 2 Chinese dudes sitting in front of me were eating their cakes and drinking their coffee and one turned to look at me when this happened with the «WTF?!?» expression on his face.
Can’t do this place anymore especially since seeing that and realizing they have another area downstairs out of sight, if this guy can do this in full view of the customers there’s no telling what’s going on down in the cellar. I gave an extra star because the food/​drinks are good but I can give no more than that due to the complete disregard to basic hygiene.

Even though there are a million bakeries to choose from in flushing, I just love this bakery. They are always baking in the bake so if you can count on fresh goods. If you’re lucky theyre still piping hot! The pastries are at most a dollar each. My favorite would be the chicken bun, the taro bun, and the hot dog bun. I can get a satisfying meal for just 3 bucks. What can be greater than that? They recently got a B rating (for sanitation from nyc) but I dont care, it just tastes so darn goood. I still go here even though the bakery two doors down has an A.

To satisfy your Chinese sweet tooth you should go to Quickly across the street for bubble tea and then go here for a breakfast delight. This is a small place with not much seating but has stuff you can take home. Their always baking fresh stuff in the back, so if you go in and there’s something that you want and it’s not there don’t worry. It’s already being made and when it comes out people snatch them up. I don’t go in often because of location but when I do even I stock up and buy 15 – 20 pastries at a time for the family because all the items are around $ 1 each.
Please do yourself a favor and get the pork and hot dog bun. Other Chinese bakeries I’ve been to make the pork or hot dog dry, but this place does it perfect. Their my favorite!

Everything is fresh and still warm. I got the egg custard and the milk cream bun. Pretty damn good! Everything is priced under a dollar so go nuts and try every flavor.

My favorite thing about this place is the bathroom. They taped a sign above the toilet that says, «PLEASE FLASH.» They crossed out the letter A and replaced it with a U but patrons have also added their own interpretations of how to spell flush.
So next to it, you will see things like, Floush, Flosh, Flosch, Flousch, Flaush, and so on.
I found myself laughing uncontrollably as I tried to keep the stream going into the correct place, which is hard when you’re laughing.
Besides the great time to be had in the bathroom, they freshly bake all their food on premise right in front of you. I had a warm, fresh from the oven pork bun ($ 1) which was a bit salty but still good. They also have cakes and bubble tea.
Typical Chinese bakery in a great location with good food and great prices. I’m definitely coming back here.

This is one of my favorite places for taking a coffee break if I get tired of hanging out at Starbucks. This place is a local Chinese coffee shop making all types of buns and snacks. They speak Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and I challenged them with my Chinglish and Mantonese. My favorite here is the chicken wrapped in a flaky pastry dough at 90 cents. Bubble tea is very reasonable here and the coffee is pretty good at 90 cents too. This place gets very busy at coffee break time around 3pm. Lots of old Chinese geezers hanging out in the back chatting about the old days. Service is quick and you can see the baker making buns behind a glass window. Its one of the cleaner coffee shops in Flushing. They have some of the old style pastries like thousand year old egg wrapped in flaky pastry dough, wife’s cake, and mung bean pastries (mung beans are good detoxers).
