Hidden gem in downtown Flushing &YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
I’ve always struggled with finding the perfect salon where they will actually color your hair EVENLY and of course care about the conditions of your hair. I was recommended to Thinking Hair Studio by my manicurist located across the street & I cannot be more grateful.
Let me explain why his studio is so much more different from a typical Asian hair salon located in Flushing…
Andy, who is the owner of his hair studio only takes appointments since he is the only stylist that will be doing the cuts, color, perm or whatever else that you probably have in mind. He will listen to your concerns & will go over how each process will be done accordingly. He will also be giving you his most honest opinion on whether or not the chemicals will be too harmful for your hair to handle. What is surprising is that he rather make less money than to use too much chemical on your hair, that will eventually break your ends off even if you demand that particular look.
He just won’t do it.
P. s. I’ve colored my hair countless times so therefore after bleaching it to a certain level, I expect it to leave my ends super dry but it’s clearly not the case here at Thinking. I didn’t even a trim to get rid of any split ends!
I highly recommend it!

I got the best hair cut in Queens, this guy (Andy) has great eye for detail. Very creative and worthy of the name studio. The price was extremely reasonable.
