Me and my parents have history coming to Wei Wei & Co. for over a decade to have their professional accountants prepare our tax returns. They are so thorough and gets in touch with me about anything. Email and phone are so efficient when I need explanations or etc. We entrusted them with our taxes.

Tax Department during tax season (January 1 to April 15)
Monday to Friday 9:30 am — 10:00 pm
Saturday to Sunday 10:00 am — 6:00 pm

They made two mistakes on my taxes. The first mistake I caught before filing and asked them to correct it. The second mistake was caught by the IRS. They weren’t apologetic about the errors at all.
I was also annoyed by their response time in these matters.
And they charged me a lot more than their initial quote. I think they should have told me that it would cost more as soon as they realized this (when they were starting) but they didn’t say anything until they completed the work.

Getting your taxes done is the most depressing thing but the guy here makes me laugh. Now that’s worth something.

Make it a 4.75. i have yet to find the accountant who will also clean my house
Alice Yong, the owner, has been my accountant since forever. Why do I keep her? because she’s not only super smart, keeps a great work relationship, but also works her best to give you the best for your buck

What does Alice and her co-​workers do? They keep on dot detailed on info they need and updates on whats up through email and long distance calling if necessary. They fax, wait and work with me and my time constraints-​EVEN with the 12 hour time difference
this lady knows tax rules and law better than the back of her own hand.

Awful accounting firm who charges high prices and cannot file taxes properly. Paid $ 120 for tax services and still had to go through lots of trouble following up with them and making sure my taxes were filed properly. Initially, they filed me as dependents to my parents so I had to pay the government net $ 3k. I spotted the mistake, as I am not a student and a full time worker, and had to call THEM to request the change. If I did not spot this mistake, it would have been red flagged by the IRS and I would have been audited. When you pay someone to do your taxes, a HUGE mistake like this should be realized by the firm.
They made the changes and I ended up being net positive, so I then asked for all my tax refunds to be direct deposited, long behold, only my federal taxes were listed as direct deposit and they had filed me NJ tax returns as check refund. As of today, have still yet to receive my NJ state tax returns due to the accountants inability to follow directions that were clearly given to him. And will probably not see this refund until July/​August as he submitted my forms via paper, which takes 6 – 8 weeks for NJ to just alone process so I can get into the system.
Extremely incompetent accounting firm, better off going to an H&R Block.
