Adore Salon & Spa

Nope. They messed up my hair in a way I can’t even describe. I had to go to other stylists afterward to fix it. The owner herself did my hair and did an awful job. She also did my mom’s hair and it made my mom look so much older than she was with this flat, one dimensional awful color. They re-​did her hair for free, thank goodness. But it was awful and the fact that they could let her walk away like that… ugh.
On my head, it looked like a wild animal set up camp on top of my head in a mass of curls that closely resembled a curled up squirrel, while the back was a mullet longer style. And one side of my hair was ½″ from the scalp, while the other side was about 4 to 5″ long, (remember the old Incredible Hulk show from the 80’s where it was half Hulk, half regular man in the opening credits? Yeah, that was me after this cut).
I almost want to post a picture on here to show what the hairstyle looked like, but I’m too embarrassed to do that. I’m still dealing with the repercussions since the top was cut so short while the back was left long. Luckily, a subsequent stylist was able to fix it.
The only reason I’m giving two stars is because I went back a second time to have it touched up, so that 2^nd visit was my fault for not knowing better.

Don’t get me wrong Adore salon has a stuff full of friendly staff. If you ever need a service DONT go to adore. I went in to the salon the day of my graduation ⁵⁄₂₅ it was a Wednesday, I asked the stylist that I wanted my hair to be curled with a flat iron. They stylist went a ahead and curled my hair, I do not know much about hair but the little I do know is that a curl showed always be curled away from the face. After my hair was styled and what not. I saw my hair and was not happy, but let me remind you again it was the day of my graduation. It was awfully important for me to have everything just right, I was very short on time. So I just left I didn’t say anything. When I arrived home I saw my hair in the mirror, I was so upset my hair looked terrible… So I did the only thing i could do and I redid my hair. I decided to call adore the next day, which I did. When the front desk assistant answered I asked to speak with a manager, and what do you know! She just so happened to be the manager… Hmm so I let the «manager» know that I was very unsatisfied with how my hair turned out, and the only reason I actually called was because my hair was done for my graduation. Shortly the «manager» said that she would speak with the owner and give my a call back ok, that sounds reasonable. From ⁵⁄₂₆ — ⁶⁄₂ I did not receive a call back. I called just this afternoon and let the front desk assistant/“manager” and I was soon transferred to the owner. I’ll let you guys know I was on the phone for 10 speaking to the owner… She sounded like a sweet girl but there was not one time where I was on the phone, when I wasn’t interrupted. Personally I thought that was very rude. In the end I just wanted my refund. But I was told that there was a sign posted that said no refunds for services, I in all honesty did not see that sign at all. I’m just a bit confused as to why when I first called, why I wasn’t told by the «manager» that there were no refunds for services. That would have ended that. But instead this request for a refund turned into a week long hassle. Thank you adore salon for not being helpful.

After 3 years, I’ve found the perfect Aveda salon for me! And it’s only a few minutes from my house, and I didn’t know it!
Amy is very knowledgeable and cares about each client who comes to her. I highly recommend her!

Amy was my stylist. She was excellent! She even gave me a mini facial and arm and hand massage. Terrific! My hair color is beautiful along with the hair cut and style. I highly recommend this salon.

Amy Bennett is amazing. She gave me gorgeous sunny highlights and a great cut. The mini facial hand hand massage made me feel like a princess.

After walking out of another salon I had been going to for years in tears, my hubby told me about Amy at Adore Salon and Spa. I went in for a consultation and told her what I wanted that the other salon refused to do. Amy came up with an idea on how to give me the best results possible and all I can say is WOW! My hair came out so much better then I could have imagined!!! I highly recommend Amy!!! My daughter and I will be loyal clients to her from now on!

I had a hair emergency and Amy was able to accommodate my needs and get me in immediately. She took my brassy orange blonde hair to a beautiful natural looking light blonde color. Not only that but she treated me like royalty! I will definitely continue going to her.

Love love love my hair color done by Callie yesterday!!! I also had Callie and her team do my bridesmaid and my hair/​make up for my wedding in September and they did an amazing job!!! Very professional and fun!

I just got an ombré done by Katie & she did an amazing job. She is so talented & fun to talk to. I absolutely love the cut & style she did to my hair too. I also got my eyebrows waxed & scheduled my first facial… definitely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a salon. Plus the salon is super cute & all the girls were so sweet.

We have been here twice with Amy, first time (a few months ago) she did an updo & makeup for my daughter for homecoming. My daughter’s hair looked amazing and her makeup was perfect… not over or under done, just right! Tonight, Amy did an hombre for my daughter & it turned out beautiful. She’s giving her tips on how to better take care of her hombre & her hair in general. If you want to look & feel beautiful when you have your hair done… Ask for Amy… she’s amazing & also really fun to talk to.

I am forever grateful that I found Athena! It is so difficult to find someone who can cut my hair and she has really gone beyond what most stylists have been able to do with my fine difficult to style head of hair.
Athena gives me a perfect cut every time I see her, I’m never disappointed and she has totally transformed my over highlighted blonde locks into a beautiful easy to manage Balayage.
I’m so happy I found Athena and recommend her to everyone who tells me how beautiful my hair is!

I came into the salon after a previous stylist had completely fried my hair and Amy has put me onto the path of hair recovery. She truly takes her time with you and treats you as her top priority. She has recommended the right products and has altered my hair treatments to best fit my needs.
I have had my fair share of unprofessional stylist and rushed services. Amy is on top of her game at all times and is a color pro!
Best of all, Amy is such a sweet heart that the time spent there is enjoyable and easy!

Purchased groupons for my StepMom and myself during her visit. Tiffeny treated just wonderfully and took her time. Great room for services with lights in the ceiling. Would recommend a facial with her and can’t wait to return. I especially loved the makeup retouch at the end.

I get my hair done by Amy and she is amazing. I’m not very good at conveying what exactly I need with regards to my haircut. Amy is very patient and asks questions to help her understand what I need my hair to do. Every time I have gone to Amy she has been great. I get a great haircut that works for my face shape. This last time I got my hair cut by Amy she used a curling iron to give me big curls. She also put eye makeup on me. Bi left feeling great. I went to the store after my haircut and the girl at the checkout complimented me on how pretty and healthy my hair looks!

Amy B is awesome!!! Perfect for a busy, woking mom! However, I can tell she is the type of person & stylist that if I wanted to slow things down, she would. She offered me a mini-​facial while I was there & didn’t have time this trip but will next time.
Love the color!!! She used fine pieces as I wished and color close to root.
