Love this place BUT there’s two main reasons it isn’t receiving a 3 star review.
1) inadequate amount of seating per lane, we went in last Saturday and was shocked to see it wasn’t insanely packed in the bar or on the lanes, although the lane we were put on had 7 people next to it. There’s enough seating for about 8 people every TWO lanes so our party of 6 was stuck having to stand/​play musical chairs with the party that was in the lane next to us. 7+6=13. 13 people with 8 seats available (if squished together) made for an awkward situation. Other than that it was fun glow bowling.
2) there was a very helpful employee who helped us get our lane/​shoes but I’m forgetting her name, the reason I’m mentioning her is because as she was helping us a older blonde woman (the manager I believe?) came up and rudely interrupted her as she was talking to us and informed her to charge us a certain way for socks (which is what she was already doing.)
Having worked in customer service I know what it’s like having a boss speak to you in a condescending tone, in front of customers. It’s extremely awkward for all parties and isn’t good business ethics to grill your employees before even checking if they’re doing their job correctly.
The STAFF aside from that person I believe to be the manager, is a SOLID ⁵⁄₅ stars. The bar security is great, bartenders are all nice and do a great job keeping up with the high volume of orders. Kitchen staff & cashiers were all friendly as well.
I’ll be back again because overall it’s a great/​clean/​safe venue, it just bums me out to see managers treat their employees poorly and to do it in front of customers.

Update: after talking with the co owner and giving flb a second chance I had a much better experience and I would like to throughly thank the management and owners for making this a much better experience

We had made a reservation on the in the internet. We arrived and looked at the prices and they were half of what it said on the website. We wanted to talk to the manager but didn’t say 1 word to us but she talked to the employee. .are we not good enough to speak to. A complimentary pitcher of soda and free shoe rental… oh we didn’t get our «reserved lane» till 10 minutes after the time we scheduled it for. I would much rather go to a place where they act like they value your service
Update: we were invited back and had a 100% turn around we had a great time service was 100% better. Will come back most definitely! !!

We had our 3 year olds birthday here got the platinum package pretty good deal worked out well for us. Party room is pretty small I would say could fit 15 maybe 20 comfortably, but hope your party is on a day under 70 because that room has no AC we were told. Has a stat but doesn’t control that space or it was broken I got a few different stories. We had a party of about 30 there and the weather was 80 and we were all sweating while eating birthday cake and opening gifts. If we were able to open the door in the room without the alarm sounding that might have helped a little. Instead the host put a fan in the room that’s all they had available. They do give you a cool bowling pin and balloon bouquet. But make sure to bring your own decorations or extra balloons because otherwise the room is pretty boring.

This place has an interesting identity crisis. It is most notable for its bowling alley, but adjacent to it is a seemingly fully stocked bar and carnival-​esque play area. These are not bad things, but I usually see them in separate venues rather than within the same complex. Either way, this is a great place to get friends together and drink beers over bowling

This place has it all. Bowling, bar with pool and darts, casino, restaurant, a barbershop, friendly staff… Everything you need all in one place

What a fun place! We bowled for two hours and were surprised at how good the food was also. Friendly staff, good equipment and great environment. A couple of us went to the bar after and the atmosphere was good. The crowd was a good mix of young and other ages (I fit in this class) and everybody seem to get along great. FIREBALL ORCHATA SHOTS were, let me say,…tasty! Über arrived on time… fun night!

It’s just waste of time, we were said that waiting time for bowling was 45 mins and it ended up extending for 100 mins.
If you guys can’t accommodate people don’t give lame excuses that someone online books and you extend waiting times.
Instead of coming here one can easily go to Sacramento and play there.
Hopeless is the perfect word to describe their service.

We planned our employee company party at the bowling alley. We had used another bowling alley the previous year in Sacramento and were very skeptical about trying it again. We loved that they assign a person to you so anything you need was taken care of immediately. It was clean and felt safe.
The most surprising part is we ordered the chicken fajita bar and everyone raved about how wonderful the food was. You never really expect that at a bowling alley! The staff was very friendly and attentive.
We enjoyed the experience, had a great time and would reccommend it for group team building experience at anytime!

Family friendly bowling center with amazing Staff. Clean center too. My family and I have gone here for years, so the staff knows us well. We are
well taken care of. They’ve always treated my Father with respect which means the world to me.
Father bowled for over 60 years and being that this was the last place he got to bowl at, I enjoy my time here in his memory as much as I can.

I have frequented this establishment a number of times as I play poker and it’s close. While the bar staff and card room staff are generally very helpful and friendly I’ve had a couple instances in the past where we were treated extremely poorly. Beyond rude doesn’t cover it and ion not one to tolerate being mistreated. Recently I was there with some friends and I had asked the bouncer to close the front door as the Stench of cigarette smoke was billowing into the bar. About ten minutes later I had to make the same request, which unbeknown to me at the time had also been made by the cocktail waitress who later shared with me that she got a very pissy response from the hostess (who is apparently the owners daughter) and I had to make yet another request to have the doors closed. At this point the bouncer yelled at me that the smoke wasn’t coming from that door, to which I said it’s either coming from this door or creating a vacuum and bringing it in off the patio, either way when this door is open the place reeks of cigarette smoke and I do t want to smell it. Here’s where it gets interesting. The bouncers response to me was in no short order «if you don’t like it get the F!0k out» his words exactly. My response was in kind and similar and u told him to F off. I was hot and went looking for the manager to complain but couldn’t find him, I voiced my anger to the waitress who has always given excellent service and she calmed me down and had me laughing in a few moments. 45 minutes later — after I had spent over $ 100 on drinks and having a good time (still breathing 2^nd hand smoke). I had let it go and was just having fun. The manager Kevin, came up to me demanding I apologize to his bouncer. I succinctly refused and u admit I used some colorful metaphors but that tenor had been set by the bouncer already and like I said I don’t tolerate being mistreated. After I explained and recounted to the manager that I had a right to complain about the 2^nd hand smoke AND that the bouncer had told me if I don’t like it Get the F out he still wanted me to apologize or as I was now re heated over everything… Leave. Mind you I had already let this go and this was at least 45 minutes after the words were exchanged. There was no way I was going to apologize to this troglodyte Thomas or his manager Kevin. So I left and our group of several friends left and went to Another place where we had a great and even better time. Now, as I left more words were exchanged between me and this

Some pretty dark names… And as I was out of the building I heard him say «I hope I run into that guy somewhere else» — I’ll take that as a physical threat and make sure that I let everyone know how to expect to be treated when you go to FLB.

I’m only reviewing the bar not the bowling. I used to meet friends here because they like beer and the beer was cheap.
I never liked this place because the bartenders had bad attitudes. Why? I have no idea. People like nice servers and bar staff. I used to be a bartender and if you have a shitty day you need to try harder and be pleasant. I asked for a Margarita for my birthday. I asked if she could make it with lime juice instead of all that sugary stuff. Wow, dirty looks and comments.
People here think that being a bartender is like being the Mayor. No, you choose a profession that deals with the public and paying customers. Anyway this place is dark and stinks like underage puke.

Terrible treating of people. When the bar manager saw mi ID from outside of the US he was acting like I was doing something wrong and kicked me out. No explanation, not a good attitude. Not recommended.

This place is a local fixture in Folsom. I brought my family here for a little outing. You can reserve online and I found their system pretty user friendly. I called multiple times cause I had some confusion whether the price of shoe rental was included in the lane fee, it is not. I dealt with some friendly and not so friendly staff on the phone. I paid $ 45 for one lane (we had 7 bowlers) and it was $ 3.75 per shoe rental. You could buy socks for 3 bucks if needed! The rate for lane rentals changes based on the time (night vs day) and weekend vs weekday.
I like the fact you can buy a pitcher of beer at the bar and bring it to the lane with you. We got nachos and fries to munch on! Typical arcade food faire. Fake cheese and all. No complaints here.
They were consistently cleaning the areas as no parties cycled in and out. I watched them clean the balls quite a bit. At one point a staff member brought us more chairs for our family. Greatly appreciated!
Their commercial is pretty comical too. A little too Dave and busters like if you ask me.

I went to this place for the first time on a Saturday night. I don’t really frequent Folsom anymore (I used to a lot when I was just 21). I really liked this place. The crowd was decent, there were a ton of people there and they have so much going on. There is pool, a dance floor, live music, cards, darts, and of course the bowling alley is attached. The bartenders (Brand & Darren) were amazing, super friendly even though they were insanely busy. It took a little while to get drinks sometimes but you can pretty much expect that from most places that have a decent crowd.
The only reason I give them 4 stars is because the drinks were pricey for the location and clientele.

A group of friends and I went to FLB to bowl on a friday night. The location is decent, GPS took me straight to it. B. Alley is nice and clean, and had a DJ playing some great «back n the day» hip hop music. Not sure how often they have DJ as this was my first visit but I thought it was great.
The reason for 3 out of 5 stars is the bar. Bar/​hang out spot is a very nice, spacious location w/​darts and a couple pool tables, and I love playing me some pool:-). Bartenders are pretty slow, and I don’t usually complain about bartenders because that’s gotta be a stressful job. With that said, I shouldn’t have to do the stare down to get you to acknowledge me. Even though it works every time;-).

I had visited this place years ago and decided to pay them a visit again recently.
I went with my 3 kids and we had a wonderful time. I called before showing up because I wanted to make sure they had lanes available and that they had a ramp for children with special needs to be able to bowl. They had both.
Bowling is charged at $ 20.00 an hour per lane plus the shoe rentals. We were there for an hour and a half and our total with the shoes came close to $ 40.00 for the four of us. The guy that helped us when we got there was very nice and so was the woman at the counter when we left.
I ordered a few things to eat, a pizza, nachos, fries, a sandwich and a pitcher of soda. That came to about $ 39.00. It was all pretty good.
The bowling balls were all in pretty beat up condition. We are not regular bowler so we don’t have our own but it would have been nice to be able to find a few decent balls. Bumpers are available but if there is someone that needs them and others that don’t, that is not an option. Either all of them use them or none.
Although there were a few families there, this bowling alley feels more like a place to go with other adults, get your drink on and have fun bowling. I had a good time with my kids because anytime I’m out with them we are in our own little world but I’m mentioning it because it’s how I saw it.
I’m still a fan because it is not too far from me and my kids had a very good time.

***For parents of Special needs children***
*My son loves bowling. It is a little loud in there so it is a little difficult for a child in the Autism Spectrum with Sensory issues but I requested a lane at the end and the ramp for my son to bowl and he blocked out the sounds that bothered him by covering his ears anytime he was not bowling and had a great time so that is why this place is in my «AUTISM» list.

My friends and I went here a few weeks ago and honestly, I had a blast! Now I’m not just saying that because I ended up with the highest score and beat them all, I really like this place! Our friends who are Folsom natives suggested that we come here for Glo Bowling on Friday night (basically bowling in the dark with neon lights every where and funky music from all the decades).
The food is lackluster (junk food like pizza, fries, burgers, greasy food). There is a bar attached to the bowling center so you can order a pitcher of beer and bring it back. The prices here for bowling are reasonable. BRING SOCKS because they dont have any for you to rent (you’ll pay to use their sock vending machine).
The workers here were super nice, parking was convenient. Enjoyed myself here and will likely be a place to invite my friends for future bowling parties!
