Specialties
As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I focus on working with adults, couples, and families, but my specialty is in working with couples and adults with relationship issues. My approach to couples therapy is to work with my clients to identify the core issues that prevent them from having fulfilling, connected relationships rather than giving them short-term solutions to symptoms of the underlying problems.
History
Established in 2001.
I am a licensed therapist with over 15 years of experience in counseling a variety of clients. In 2001, I opened my private practice to service the foothill communities of Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Orangevale, Shingle Springs, and Cameron Park. In my work with my clients, I emphasize building strong therapeutic relationships, as research has shown that this is one of the most effective means of change in therapy. We are all faced with a variety of challenges at different stages of our lives. My goal is to create life-long relationships with my clients so that you will seek me out at those times when you are in need of extra support, are in crisis, or just want to grow in your life and relationships.
