Oopa Yogurt Bar

First time at Oopayogurt and I loved it. The service from Ian was excellent, very attentive and helpfull. While some other yogurt stores may have a wider selection of flavors I found the flavors here fantastic and the yogurt and Italian ice were the perfect consistency. I always prefer quality over quantity and this place delivers. Well done oopa’s, we will be back.

We got a coupon deal for this place to try it out. It’s like a froyo shop mixed with a health shop. Weird. Service is a little stingy here too. You have to ask for sample cups and they serve it to you. Flavors are pretty basic. Sometimes the froyo is a little melty. Toppings are fresh though which is good.

Staff was very friendly, wasn’t a fan of the product and $ 15 was outrageous for 2 yogurts that weren’t nearly close to being full.

My coworkers and I were craving yogurt and couldn’t think of any place close by so of course I turn to my favorite app, Unilocal!Found this cute yogurt place and decided to check it out. I love how they have quite a few nutritional items there for purchase like protein powder, and my favorite Quest bars.
The owner is really nice, he welcomed us in and offered if we like free samples. He was very tentative. I love how they also offer variety of smoothies/​drinks which I have yet to try. I’ve only had their yogurt and it is delicious and so refreshing. Only down fall is I wish they had more fruit selections for toppings .
But I must say we have been coming here at least a few times a month since it’s so close to and delicious. Definitely worth it!

The owner of the shop is very nice and extremely helpful. We were able to taste as many flavors as we liked, however there just aren’t that many flavors to choose. Oopa is a small shop and space is limited so if you are looking for a wide variety then you might be better off trying Nuyo or Yogurtland.
I will say that i chose the pineapple gelati and it was delicious! i just wish there were more to choose from here.
Very clean and there was a huge selection of toppings but i prefer to have my yogurt pure, with no toppings.

Staff was friendly and helpful but Oopa is definitely overpriced. Nuyo is twice as clean and twice as nice for half the price.

Family run by the nicest gentleman, Ian! Evidently our Grandkids know him well,
as they were bugging him to take silly pictures, etc. and he was extremely patient & sweet with them!
We’re visiting from out of town & stopped in for a cool treat. Such a huge selection! They have so much to offer on the healthful side! I chose a Mango Sunrise with Wildberries. Delicious & sooo refreshing! Will definitely visit here often when in town!

This place is fantastic! The owners clearly care about customer service! We have been here several times and each time they have been fun and playful with my 5 year old.
Oh and of course the whole reason for going there is their frozen yogurt! Their flavors are the most rich tasting frozen yogurt I’ve had. I very much recommend this place!

Good quality frozen yogurt with lots of healthy options for toppings. Fresh fruit and other topings are available. I got the coffee and coconut yogurt flavors with shaved coconut and chocolate for a topping. It was very flavorful and not to sweet.
The manager is also very nice and helpful.

This yogurt place is out of this world with different types of yogurt. Love the caramel macchiato and all kinds of toppings, and fresh fruit. This is my NUMBER ONE place for yogurt. I come here 2 – 4 times a week. Thanks, Ian

First time here and the person helping me out was friendly and helpful. I decided to try a strawberry piña colada smoothie. It was very delicious and fruity. I didn’t know there was a minimum charge on cards but the guy was nice enough to let it slide once since it was my first time lol I would definitely come here more often to try out more drinks.

Awesome service, very nice employees there, the smoothie was great! I was helped by Ian who is just plain awesome. Don’t even hesitate to come here, just do it, I promise you won’t be dissapointed

Super friendly owner even. They have a flavor called tiger blood. Good variety of yogurt and toppings, little out of the way but loved it.

FAVORITE FROYO PLACE THUS FAR. and it offers even MORE than just froyo! I come here at least once a week (usually after the gym) so it’s time for a good review.
–They have a great selection of froyo that changes often. but they also have gelato soft serve, shaved ice, etc. Favorite: JAMOCHA Gelato. seriously drool-​worthy.
— Smoothies: favorites are the rasberry banana smoothie and matcha green tea smoothie. i’m vegetarian but fairly active and they have VEGAN PROTEIN that i always add into my smoothies.
— They also have a huge selection of nutrition stuff that you can buy. PB2 (peanut butter with less fat) which i seriously can’t find anywhere and these Quest bars (gluten free).
AND the owner Ian is always extremely friendly. Love it.

Oopa is by far the best yogurt /​smoothie bar in town! So many flavors and toppings to choose from. The store is kept very clean and well-​kept, and the owner is super nice and very welcoming!
I highly suggest you try this place, you won’t be disappointed…

Oopa has 6 different froyo flavors but they have lots of other items to chose from… shakes & smoothies, different coffies & the like. Prices are decent & if you sign up for their little rewards plan they regularly send you dollar off deals. They have nice seating areas outside and inside. For the most part all the employees are friendly. The bathrooms & restaurant are clean & they play relaxing music. They have a few little games for hanging out. All in all the only thing I would improve on is more flavors of froyo.

At a YEE earlier this year, Oopa came out and offered smoothie samples to mingling Unilocalers. I grabbed a sample of a mango piña colada smoothie and my eyes nearly popped out of my head. I did not expect something that incredibly delicious. I grabbed a business card and my heart suddenly sank– Folsom? It’s in Folsom? Why do you forsake me, God?
Luckily, I had a doctor’s appointment up in Folsom within the next month so I was able to pop in and treat myself to a frozen dessert on an especially warm afternoon. Outside the shop, there are vibrant Adirondack chairs lined up for those who wish to lounge in the sun or shade while they sip their drinks. I was in a bit of a rush so I had to take a mental note to do such when I come back. Walking into the store, I felt a bit of panic as it became quite evident that I might have wanted more info about the drink so they could replicate it in store. I let out a mini version of Tina Belcher’s panic moan while I attempted to piece together the order. There weren’t many people in the shop, so I was able to run into my mind palace, swiping through the memories of the YEE and landed on a mango piña colada smoothie sans milk and whipped cream. Throwing common sense out the window, I opted for the large drink, which turned out to be a grave mistake as there was simply too much smoothie for my husband and I to get through. It had been a while since I initially tried the smoothie so I am fairly positive that I replicated the concoction but it did seem sweeter and slightly more sugary than I remember, which could simply be the larger quantity or my inability to reproduce the heavenly nectar that was previously offered to me.
I will definitely be heading back here if I find myself in Folsom but am hoping that the owner will be behind the bar so he can walk me through the different additives and options. This is one of my favorite smoothies in the area and is the perfect treat for a hot Sunday afternoon but the only downside is that I rarely find myself in Folsom.

I went into try some frozen yogurt and was pleasantly surprised by not only the unique flavors they had but also the brand of frozen yogurt which looked to be different than the other average frozen yogurt shops around the Folsom area.
The employee was also very polite and welcoming and took me through all the different products they have, which includes smoothies, protein shakes and powders and frozen Greek yogurt.
Overall it was an amazing experience and I will be definitely coming back for more!

Some friends and I were looking around for a yogurt place to stop into after some dinner. We actually got a little turned around because on Unilocal this place used to be called yogurt delite which is no longer around. Well this ended up working out great for us because this place was awesome! The owner and a co worker greeted us when we walked in and I was pleasantly surprised. We dove into some fresh yogurt which hit the spot on this Africa hot day! They had a great selection of fresh fruits, granola’s and other great items. To my other surprise is this place is also a smoothie bar and has fresh imported Greek yogurt! If you are in the Folsom area you need to hit up this place! You can add tons of great supplements to their smoothies and even some meal replacement ones as well… need to check out this pace!
