QT Optometry

I have never had to have glasses in my life. I got a prescription and came into QT today and had the most wonderful experience with a QT her self! I believe her name was Courtney. She was highly helpful and knew everything about her profession. I will be going back in again!

He’s extremely personable and thorough — two things I look for in a doctor. Also very professional and his staff is very nice and not pushy at all.

I’ve tried 4 different optometrists in Folsom. Dr. Q is the only one who took enough time to find a pair of contacts that work GREAT for me! I’ve found my new eye doctor and I’m not going anywhere else! Thank you Courtney and Dr. Q!

I’m extremely impressed with QT Optometry! Dr. Q has an excellent bedside manner, a great sense of humor, and is very knowledgeable. The receptionist, Courtney, is very friendly and helpful. It being my first eye examination, I was a bit nervous. All went well and was informative and painless! The establishment has state-​of-​the-​art equipment and is a well put together, clean, relaxing environment. My experience with QT Optometry has been nothing short of ideal and I am happy to say that (although I won’t need glasses for a while), this will definitely be the Optometrist I see yearly! I would absolutely recommend Dr. Q for all of your eye care needs!!!

First time here and very impressed. It’s a very nice little place, and the staff was very friendly. The doctor has a great sense of humor and is very knowledgeable. I am happy to say I have found a new permanent optometrist. If you are looking don’t waste time anywhere else. Just come see them :)

There are not a lot of eye doctor’s that are as personable is Dr. Q. He is one of the best. His practice is very organized. For starters, there are hundreds of frames on display. Pretty much something for everyone of every age and gender. The store is extremely clean and very nice inside. The receptionist was very knowledgeable, friendly, and best of all very helpful.
Of course, Mr. Q was the main attraction! I was very impressed with his vast knowledge. He diagnosed me with Keratoconus, a curvature of the cornea, an issue that no other eye doctor had been able to determine. I am now taking the proper steps to fix my ailment. But not for Dr Q. I would never have known this. I am forever grateful and can definitely say that my family and I are customer’s for life. Great job Dr. Q!

This business is awesome. My husband and I were visiting family and we both had accidents with our frames. They fixed our frames quickly, professionally and with a smile. If we lived here this would be our choice for optometrist. Thank you.

Wow! I was very impressed with QT Optometry when I went in for my exam on Saturday afternoon. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. I was greeted warmly, and everyone was very accommodating and provided me with fantastic service.
Dr. Q is attentive, funny, and genuinely personable. He was extremely patient and understanding with me during my exam, and took his time to thoughtfully answer my numerous questions. I felt very comfortable and at home in the office, which by the way is beautifully furnished and decorated.
The staff was extremely supportive during my methodical search for frames. Everyone, including Dr. Q himself, was eager to help me find a pair that would address my specific needs, and fit comfortably for daily use. They have a massive selection of eyewear for every budget, including designer styles and sunglasses.
Courtney was generous with her time and the detailed information she shared with me. She addressed all of my questions and concerns in a thoughtful, attentive, and considerate manner. (I tend to ask a LOT of questions!) She provided detailed explanations for the differences in lens materials, the various types of coatings for the lenses, and weighed the pros and cons of different options for my new pair of glasses. I feel like I was able to make a well-​educated decision with the guidance of Dr. Q and Courtney!

I was pleasantly surprised with my entire experience at this business. The receptionist was very informative and helpful. The doctor has a great and low stress presence and personality. He is an absolute professional, and would be happy to recommend him to anyone. The level of customer service and professionalism here, coupled with easy going personalities make this a superior business.

Perfect place for eye checkup. Doctor is very friendly and all the equipment there is latest and extra ordinary. He is very particular about minute details also. I definitely recommend this place for any people looking for routine eye checkup.

Wonderful experience. From the easiness of making an appointment that same week to the thoroughness of the examination, Dr. Q is definitely my go to optometrist from now on. He is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He is also extremely friendly and so is his staff!

This was a nice little office. The doctor and receptionist were friendly and happy to help.
At the beginning of the appointment they put my glasses in a machine that must have read the prescription, then after my exam the Dr told me there was a slight change in my vision which didn’t surprise me since it changes ALL the time. The receptionist told me both of my eyes were the same (before my right eye was worse than my left) so buying a new pair of glasses would be beneficial. She helped me pick out the frames and she gave me a good deal.
When I went home I compared my old prescription to my new one and… they were exactly the same! So I’m knocking off a star because I spent $ 200 on glasses I didn’t actually need. It doesn’t hurt to have an extra pair of glasses and I do like the cute frames, but if they had correctly told me my vision didn’t change I would’ve used that money for something else.
EDIT: Dr. Q reached out to me personally and remedied my issue, so I’m adding a star.

Receptive, friendly and personable people greet you with open arms at this welcoming place. I work nearby and they had my paper work ready to go for my appointment as soon as I arrived. The staff provided objective recommendations towards my new pair of Ray-​bans. Dr. Q is someone you would want to visit even if you did not need your eyes checked. No crazy forms and the service made me feel cared for. The frame selection is outstanding and the prices, even on high-​end fashion brands, are more than reasonable. If you are in the area, the 5 star reviews given to this establishment should be evident enough that this must be the place you get your next pair of glasses.

I love the staff. Honey is so helpful and the Dr. Is funny and attentive. I found my new optometrist.

Dr. Q was just fantastic! I haven’t gone to an optometrist for years. I was so nervous but he made the whole process very smooth. He’s super friendly and has a good sense of humor. I’d recommend this place to my friends and family for sure!

Just came in for my bi annual eye exam. They have a lot more selection in eyewear, and carry both affordable eyewear and your name brands such as Gucci, Prada, etc! Lots of great choices for every budget.

Finally a great location to get eye wear in folsom. Costco’s nice if you like the dollar tree quality glasses, but for quality and style go to QT Optometry.

If I has to summarize this place in a couple words it would be «more than accommodating»
Simply put they will do what is necessary to earn your business.
We called in last minute telling them our dire situation… Insurance hasn’t kicked in, last pair of contacts, last contacts just ripped, I don’t know what to do.
We arrived to this place apprehensive, too good to be true.
We were sat down immediately and he asks a lot of questions to fully understand our situation, any time we had a question he would answered it completely.
At the end of the day we walked out of there with new contacts and a very good experience.
Oh yeah… Did I mention they PRICE MATCH, we paid the same as a place we went to last year with insurance.
They have our business, that’s all I need to say.

1 month ago, I started experiencing some irritation in my left eye. I was stubborn about seeing a doctor because I thought it would resolve on its own. Unfortunately, my body let me down and it continued to bother me. Today, I hoped Dr. Q could squeeze me in for an appointment. I called his office and spoke with his secretary (she was sweet and pleasant) who took down my information and told me Dr. Q would give me a call. He called me back in just an hour! Usually, my doctors are very difficult to get a hold of, but he was on point.
While speaking with him on the phone, he was very thorough in asking me what my symptoms were. He wanted to make sure he was correct in his diagnosis and told me he could squeeze me in tonight at 6:30 PM. He probably caught on to how concerned I was about possibly losing my eyeball — he obliged to working late!
Hands down, his exam/​appointment was the best I’ve ever experienced. I’ve seen my fair share of optometrists and I’m relieved to say I finally found my long-​term optometrist. He is incredibly knowledgeable, comprehensive, patient, and attentive. And he was actually very entertaining — which made the entire appointment pretty awesome. He diagnosed me and offered a variety of resources to treat my condition. I’m a student and am fairly budget conscious. Dr. Q was helpful in providing affordable options. All in all, I’m thankful he decided to open his practice here in Folsom, CA.
As a side note, the office is well put together, very clean, and organized. They also have advanced, high-​tech equipment. I feel secure knowing they are up-​to-​date with the newer products on the market!
