History

Established in 2005.

In the spring of 2004, the founding members began discussing a potential partnership. After months of planning, the partnership became official in April of 2005. Not being happy with the status quo, and wanting better options for their Realtors, the partners found themselves looking at franchise opportunities. In December 2006, WEICHERT, REALTORS® — Pacific Equity Properties opened for business.

The motivation to create a new office resulted from the dissatisfaction with the office choices available to agents, including poor commission splits, negative attitudes, lack of training, and technology that was clearly not ready to meet the demands of today’s consumer.

The partners envisioned an ideal real estate office — one that was founded on the idea of first class client care, excellent training, and technology that was ready to meet the needs of clients and agents.
