This place takes their sweet time. There’s no one here and they just finished with two clients. They went to the back and they’re just chillin.

Me and my brother have been going here for over a year and no complaints! Except, sometimes the wait can be a little long but it’s totally worth it. All these people know what they’re doing. The price is fair compared to other places. Great place for a clean haircut. I recommend the place. It’s the only barbershop I go to.

Pretty clean cuts. I trust this place with my hair. However, I wish the barbers have of a variety when it comes fades. What I mean is, a bald fade is exactly the same as a skin fade there. Whenever I go to other shops and ask for a bald fade or a skin fade, there’s a distinct difference.

First time going into this barbershop and Ben was my barber. Got to say very clean shop and chill vibe, compared to all star barber shop this place blows them out of the water. Ben was very chill and professional and hooked up a great cut. Would definitely recommend him and will be a returning customer for sure.

Chito has been cutting my hair for over 10 years and has exceeded my expectations every time he’s cut my hair… The other barbers also do great work. Clean tapers, and fades everything fading away properly no lines, and line ups. If your still hesitant in comfy to golden shears don’t be come by and ask for Chito he’ll take care of you…

I came here a couple of times and not the best but worth what u pay for, but I went on Monday and didn’t notice till I got home but the guy have me two different hair cuts he tapered one side and gave me a low fade on the other side, wtf right! So idk I might have to move on now sorry fellas I used to go to you guys when you were off valley too.

It was my second time at Golden Shears the first time I went was great I was charged $ 12.00 for a nice taper. The second time I went was on thanksgiving day I went in waited about 20 minutes for a chair to open up it was the guy all the way in the corner closest to the door I regret going to him I should’ve waited until the guy that cut my hair the first time was free. Anyways I told him what I wanted and a minute or so into the haircut I felt as if he was rushing to cut my hair he was not taking his time at all everything he did was so quick I was literally in the chair a little bit over 5 minutes. He charged me $ 20 dollars for a taper I never in my life paid so much and to top it off it looked like a $ 5.00 haircut there was little hairs he missed on my line up that I didnt see until I got home. It was a really sloppy cut. For that reason I will never go there again.

Bad: place can get crowded, so don’t come if you’re in a hurry. This doesn’t reflect on the barbers; just happens to be a busy spot.

The bad thing about this place is that, it says they open @9 in the morning but no one is there.
They really don’t have a time when they are going to open. Sometimes they open at 945/​10shh/​11shh
Don’t keep customers waiting for 1hr or so… sucks.
Cool place to cut ur hair. Just that never on point when they open.

They are NOT open until 8 PM on Sunday. We drive by at 5 PM and they have a new sign that says Sunday until 4 PM. Also, the phone number listed is out of service. Awesome.

Been taking my little nephews since the first opened back on Valley… great, fun atmosphere plenty to do while you wait… my nephews always get their cut by Louis aka Chito… highly recommend!

First time here… usually go to small beauty salon for my son’s haircuts but this time I decided they need a barber like little men…
Luis was professional and provided good service. My 6 year old usually gets a gentle men’s cut but always has stray long hair lingering… not this time… nice clean fade and cut. He is very happy with his hairstyle and loved the gel used in the shop, it smells awesome!!!
One suggestion for the shop is that they have a little cleaner business… I know it’s a barber shop but hair was all over the floor from who know how many clients. Window also had some build up that does not look too tidy…
