History

Established in 1985.

R&B Auto Center is a local success story. After meeting in 1983, owners Rick Braun and Bob Delozier used their personal savings and profit from the sale of a race car to obtain a starting location for R&B Auto Center in a former pizza kitchen in 1985. Family members supported the fledgling business by donating their time to help staff the dealership.

From the very beginning, R&B Auto Center focused on doing business with integrity and treating customers like family. These two core philosophies remain the foundation for the business today.

Located in Fontana, R&B Auto Center draws customers from all areas within San Bernardino County and Riverside County. It’s not unusual for customers to drive over 60 miles just to do business with R&B Auto Center. Communities served include Fontana, Rialto, San Bernardino, Colton, Riverside, Redlands, Alta Loma, Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Highland, Yucaipa, and the greater Inland Empire area!

Business Owner

Born in Rialto, Bob Delozier is a long time resident of California’s Inland Empire. Graduating from Eisenhower High School with an entrepreneur’s spirit and a love for automobiles, Bob joined forces with drag-​racer and long-​time friend Rick Braun, to open R & B Auto Center in 1985. Starting out with just 10 cars, R & B Auto Center has since grown into a 5-​acre automotive sales and service center located in Fontana. With a strong commitment to America’s armed forces personnel and service to the community, Bob has forged R & B Auto Center into a long-​standing and iconic landmark that is trusted by residents, as well as local government officials.

Bob currently lives in Fontana, with his wife and two children. His hobbies include motocross, boating, and wrestling, while his favorite cars include Chevrolet trucks, BMW, and Porsche.

Bought my truck last night from these guys i had a speedy and honest buying experience… i had initially talked to Brian who was very helpful without being to pushy but when i returned a few days later he was unavailable so he directed me to Isaac and he was very helpful and willing to deal. I ended up with a beautiful truck and i was in and out of there in less than 2 hours… i didnt feel like i was being dicked around. I would definitely recommend R&B to anyone looking for a new used car or lifted truck.

Brian is your man to help you test/​buy your new vehicle from R&B Auto Center. He provided friendly customer service and he did not make us feel pressured or hassle us at all. I dealt with Dustin and I could not have been any happier. He was very laid back and not pushy at all. Not the normal car dealer. He actually called me and bought my vehicle after a little negotiating. We were both happy and he did everything he said he would. They came and picked up my vehicle from a Dr. appointment and actually waited on us to come out. All paperwork and money orders in hand. I live in San Diego and will always call Dustin for any vehicle needs.

Dustin and Bob were extremely upfront and fare when I sold my truck. Got a great offer (better than any others by thousands). Most of all there were none of the typical «used car salesman» tactics. Dave! This guy was our salesman and all I can say is wow! This guy was awesome, right off the start he was very friendly and even though it was a little less then a hour before they closed he was willing to let me test drive two trucks. After driving both we decided to run numbers and he went out of his way to put a part on the truck that had gotten taken off. I will definitely be coming back to deal with these people again and would love to do business with Dave again.

My family usually buys our cars here, and every time we have we usually deal with Jim, this time we went in and Jim unfortunately wasn’t there. Dave was the person who helped us with our experience! He was awesome! Of course we were hesitant because it was a different sales man but Dave was super outgoing and helpful he helped make our car searching so easy and we honestly had a GREAT time doing it. It’s amazing to know that we can come here and be treated family. We always get taken care of. Every experience our family has here is positive. Everyone who works here has the right personality to do sales and put up with picky people.

We went two weeks ago and test drove a 2013 Ford Raptor. My husband fell in love with this truck and all the upgrades on it. The Kelly Blue book price was lower and their was room to negotiate the price. With our credit and down payment we didn’t walk away with the truck, but that was ok. Tony and the financing department went to work and found us the best bank with the best payment! They didn’t BS us or try and deceive us in anyway, we both appreciated that. This is a great place to find a vehicle. They have high quality cars that have been highly detailed so it’s like getting a new car. Their staff is not pushy, just helpful, and they make you feel comfortable, not like a number. I worked with Jim Moore mainly but all the other staff were kind and fun to be around.
