Smart & Final

The store is clean Pete the manager is great but one of the cashiers not to sure what her name was but I had went in on Halloween and the cashier was rude and threw my change at me so I told her ”Smart and final used to have great customer service” and another cashier who was hanging around doing nothing had told me ”oh, what now we are all rude”, with lots of attitude by that time I had enough of theyre bad customer service and left and I will not be coming back ever again.

I like this location. It is close to the bfs house when i need something specific that they carry. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I was looking for a certain brand of cream and I actually had two different em[employees help me look for it and went out of their way to check stock in the back for me. That was great. To be fair that until their prices on meat went way high I was pretty happy with this store and to be fair the staff I have no complaint with, they treat their customers really well. My husband and I have three dog’s and they are our children, we lost one of our beloved pets last year and her brother went through such grief over her loss he became ill with a disease call E.P. I. which affects the pancreas and to save his life he was put on a raw diet and that means quality beef. At first I was buying cuts of beef roasts at the regular market and then I found Smart & Final and found that if I bought a whole sirloin tip roast and butchered it myself then the savings were really good and to save the money I was willing to do the work. When I first bought my roasts they were selling for $ 2.37 a pound and that’s a great price for beef and a roast would usually run me about $ 31.00 a week. Then it jumped up again and it went to $ 2.73, a lot higher but still better than the market but yesterday the roast I need are now $ 3.10 a pound and to me that’s way too much. I think that the most sought after thing are these roasts and they sell a lot of them but now that they are so high you are going to see people start shopping back at their regular grocery stores and the little odds and ends that I always buy will now be bought somewhere else and it serves them right for being so greedy as to nail their customers.

I love this place their produce is economical

This is one of their smaller stores, but it’s clean and well stocked, save for a limited amount of fresh produce. Smart & Final has an excellent variety of frozen stuff and bulk meat deals.
The help is friendly. Plenty of good parking. The only downside: the old rickety carts. They need to scrap half their fleet and get new ones.
