Food is pretty great. Hand made tortillas and home made aguas frescas. They also made the sope tortillas by hand. I love that they provided free boiled beans but sucks that they have no where to serve your self… other than the tiny salsa cups. I heard that the Slover location does have some bigger bowls thought. I love their alpastor tacos, mulitas, and sopes. Oh and their salsa are pretty spicy too, which I always appreciate.

Nice place clean place. The food is over priced. Had the molcajete dish. Paid 32 us dollars for it and it’s way too overpriced for the amount of food that’s included. The dish is hollow in the middle. Good service besides that.

This location is only about 5 min from my house and the good news is that its absolutely delicious! But every now and then there is a hair in my food. Tonight was unfortunately the bad hair day. I had ordered here a couple of nights before and had a watery chicken quesadilla and was hoping for a night of redemption so I decided to eat in and was let down. I ordered a delicious torta and on my 4th bite found a long disgusting hair. I called the manager on duty and told her but was told that coincidently it only happens to me and more often than other customers, but the thing is I eat there more often than the average customer so my chances of finding hair in my food is higher. I calmly explained how im a regular and so I know how the food should be and bring it to there attention when its awful… however they refuse to accept constructive criticism and use it as a negative instead of positive. The management is not trying to improve food quality and so im asking everyone who eats here to check the food and please kindly let them know when the food is unacceptable so they can see its a regular thing going on here. This place should have a D rating at most. Unfortunately I will no longer eat at this location. Its so sad!

This is a love hate relationship with this place, a long time ago we had been coming here but then they really upset me and we stopped coming and then several years later we needed a place for breakfast and my husband said lets give them another try and it was really good so we came back and the second time it also was really good but the third time I go up to order breakfast and you can only get scrambled eggs not fried eggs as in huevos rancheros and I am wondering why can’t the guy fry the egg instead of scrambling it and it’s because some doofus in the kitchen has cracked all of the eggs in a jar to make scrambled eggs and left none in there shells to be fried. And the girls behind the counter just stand there looking at you saying take it or leave it and suddenly I remembered why we stopped coming here in the first place and its the same kind of stupidity except this was at dinner time. I think I have had enough and we are calling it quits for good. Try Casa Barreto on Sierra Ave. at Arrow and you will find a well priced place with really nice food and service and they have a chip and salsa bar with all you want at no charge and the pico is so very good on everything, my husband went back three times just for salsa. Parking is in the back or in the bank parking lot,

I love this place but lately they have been messing up our orders. I ordered 2 Asada burritos and asked for refried beans and got whole pinto instead, I also ordered a kids burrito plate with a Asada burrito and no beans since my son doesn’t like them but they put beans in it anyways. I asked for fries with his meal and they gave me rice and beans. I asked the girl several times to read back the order and she did. When I got there to pick it up I asked if it was correct and when I got home it was wrong. I’m getting tired of them getting my orders wrong.

As one of my friends put it, Viva Villa is fire! It’s so good. I live in Cucamonga and I think this place would have a line out the door if they would set up a restaurant in Rancho. Please come to Rancho Cucamonga, we need you! The best tacos for me are the lengua tacos. For those who don’t know what lengua is its beef tongue. Now please don’t knock it til you have tried it. The meat is very tender. However if your not adventurous they also have carnitas, Carne asada and chicken and El pastor. If you are more adventurous than me they have tripas, Spanish for intestines. Yikes, I just can’t do it. But if you like them, no judgment, have at it. They carry 5 or 6 salsas and I love them all except the chipotle one, but that’s not their fault I never eat salsas with chipotle peppers, it tastes burnt to me, so just a preference not points against this restaurant. Apparently there are 3 or 4 other locations, so I am definitely not their only fan. And some of their locations are 24 hours. I visit this one because it’s near my sisters place, and that’s how I discovered it. But if you want really good Mexican food and if your a night owl too, this is the place to come. Also the tamales are very good and they serve beer and margaritas. That’s all I am going to tell you, stop hounding me, for more information check them out yourself.

It was fast and easy. Service is good. Food was clean and tasty. Chile reyano needed to be cooked longer and would not order carne taco I think chicken or pork would be better. Music was good. Try it neighborhood is a little poor and tough but families eat here.

Carne Asada is a pass. Chicken or pastor. I don’t get anymore exotic than that. Tortillas are made fresh in house, ain’t too many places in the inland empire doing so. Free bean soup next to the salsa bar is good for those with babies or small kids. Only getting 4 stars for the sub par customer service. Place wasn’t packed, but the girl at the register seemed disturbed«maybe it was the uniform».

I dunno why people like this place so much? Come on! Chips don’t come with the meal? Gotta pay extra for them? What kind of Mexican place is this? Menu on a small business card size fold out? How do you expect your costumes to read it. Food was meh. Service was not there. Will not be coming here again.

My go to spot for Mexican food! I’ve never seen this place shy on guests for all the right reasons… The food here just destroys most places. The Al Pastor is a fav of mine. Huge salsa bar, generous portions of food. Street tacos, burritos and quesadillas are jaw dropping good! I don’t know if there’s s Mexican joint around the IE that can top THIS specific location.

Their food was pretty good. I’d been driving past this location unbeknownst to me and going to the Sierra location. I get their nachos with al pastor and it’s borderline mind blowing. I always woof down a taco or two. They make their taco tortillas fresh there but really they could be using tortillas from big lots and I wouldn’t know the difference. Still, they are good tacos. They offer free bean so that’s a plus. A little on the expensive side for the type of food you get but it’s authentic so there is that to consider. The salsa bar is always stocks fresh with delicious salsas and radishes with lime. I don’t eat that stuff but I see people eating like its life supporting so I suppose it must be good. Give this place a shot and you won’t be disappointed.

Good stuff, I order the usual carna asada tacos. They were delicious as expected. My pops ordered shrimp cocktail and he liked it. Paired it up with few beers and it was a match. I’ll be coming back!!! At this particular location, one needs to order and pay first and then find somewhere to sit, which I think is inconvenient. There were also a few cute girls but that’s another story!

I have been here twice and my first time was better then the second. This time we ordered a burrito, a sopa and a quesadilla and one shrimp tostada. Also 3 michalads. First they brought us the wrong drinks. The food was good but the drinks took for ever. We were halfway done with our food. And the tostada was the last thing to come out. The carne asada was amazing and they had free bean soup. If you have the money. This place is o.k.

Yes please! My hunnie knows how much I love«molcahetes» I think I spelled it right. lol … Anyways He brought me here for dinner. It seemed just like an ok place because you order than sit down then wait for your order to be called. The place was ok in general. It was clean. The servers were friendly. The night we were here there were a few screaming kids around but not the restaurants fault. More the stupid parents sitting in the both in the back drinking beer and letting the kids run around all over the restaurant. Anyway dinner was awesome, The margaritas were good and the flan was great. Soft and creamy and very rich in flavor. I would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back!

The taco, relleno, rice, and beans were good. they don’t make the beans retried mashed style, they leave them whole. The sauce on the burrito was good but they added sour cream inside and I didn’t ask for any, not their fault they usually don’t put that in their burrito at the other viva villa on Sierra. Next time I’ll be more specific at this location. Also, my taco, relleno plate was cold not fresh hot like the burrito. margarita was alright. it was 4.75? around there. hoping it was going to be 3 $ since it was half off margarita Wednesday. it would be nice if they showed prices some where to begin with but I should’ve asked. oh well.

This is such a great place to get tacos. Tortillas are freshly made there. Everything is actually made fresh there. They have large tvs up all around the restaurant usually to sports chanels which is great entertainment. Definitely a place i recommend for anyone looking for great Mexican food.

Spit roasted Al Pastor= automatic fan of this place. Great service, food comes out fast, fair portions and prices. The meat is already a bit spicy, all the salsas at their bar are also pretty spicy, my fav is the green. Not the best but pretty good if you are in the area.
