I cannot say enough about Jill! Communication was easy and clear throughout-​she explained different scenarios of her retrieving the placenta whether you were at the hospital, birth center, home, etc. she answered questions thoroughly and made payment easy!
Our baby girl was born on a Saturday morning and my husband called her once we were home from the virtue center. She came by as soon as possible to pickup my placenta and returned promptly the next morning at 8am with my pills, dried out umbilical cord, all packages up nicely in a bag!
I was so happy to have my placenta pills the day following birth. I definitely feel they have played a big part in both my physical and emotional recovery.
On day 4 I realized that my husband had thrown away he instruction card how many I was supposed to take on which days. I emailed Jill and she got back to me very quickly!
I would not hesitate to refer her to my friends and family, nor would I hesitate to use her for my next birth/​placenta.

Chose to get my placenta encapsulated with my second child since I had pretty bad baby blues with my first. So happy I found Jill! She was quick to respond and was great to communicate with. I had my placenta encapsulated with Jill for my second baby. What a life changing experience this was for me. With my first born, I suffered from PPD, was unable to breast feed for more than a month because I wasn’t able to produce enough breast milk, and had mood swings that caused so much tension in my relationship with my husband. So I decided to try placenta encapsulation, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try it!
Jill responded immediately after I messaged that i was in labor and dropped off my capsules the next evening. She included essential oil samples, along with other goodies I wasn’t even expecting! I started on the capsules immediately and I have never felt better. I’m 1 ½ weeks postpartum and I’m full of energy. I would strongly recommend Jill. She was thorough in answering all my questions, took her time and always made me feel comfortable.
My first child I did not encapsulate my placenta (didn’t know too much about it), with my second child I did and used Jill. I definitely noticed the difference, being more successful at breastfeeding the second time around which was my main motivation.
The first time around I made it to about three months breastfeeding with a lot of supplementing along the way.
Still going strong, I’m exclusively breastfeeding, and he’ll be six months next week.
If I am so lucky again to be blessed with a third child there’s no doubt I’ll be contacting Jill.
P. S. I intentionally picked an Orange County Hospital she serviced, and she was worth the travel. As I live in Riverside County.
If you’re still contemplating and are lacking information from your OB as I did… I recommend speaking to the labor and delivery department at your hospital of choice you be surprise how much they support and accommodate this process.

She gave detailed instructions of her whole process, and made things very simple. She picked up my placenta from my house the evening we got home from the hospital, and brought back my capsules the next night.

It was such an amazing experience to work with Jill. She was a consummate professional from the very beginning. I had a lot of questions regarding placenta encapsulation and she answered each question very thoroughly. Once I was in labor, I texted her and she answered my text right away and was there to pick up my placenta super early the next morning. We used Jill’s service last year when we had our first child. I can’t make a single complain. She was so sweet, courteous, and professional. I had people remarking on my energy level during the week after the birth. I accredit that to having a completely natural, unmedicated birth + consuming the placenta.
I called Jill again to have her service for our next baby. She is on maternity leave and explained that I would need to freeze the placenta before she could process it. Rather than just leave it at that, she spent 15 minutes on the phone with me talking about other options I could do on my own. Jill was amazing! I heard about her from a friend who had only good things to say. She came to the hospital to pick up the placenta and back to the hospital to drop off the pills the next day! Jill was fantastic during the entire day to process. It started with my inquiries a couple of months before my due date. She answered all my questions plus some! As my due date came near, we finalized the process and she continued to make the process easy and comfortable. I contacted Jill when I went into labor and we set a tentative time for pick up. She was on time and very professional (according to my husband, I was still in the delivery room). She returned with the pills and easy instructions the NEXT DAY! Now that’s service!
So how did the pills affect my recovery? Well, this was my first delivery so I have nothing else to compare it to. However, I have had an easy recovery. No postpartum depression, felt energized (as much as I could anyways with a newborn) and happy to be a new mom. I even began to run again at 6 weeks! I’m up to 4 miles at 9 weeks!
Whether the pills had any affect on how good I feel, I am not certain. However, I’m willing to take that chance and would do it in a heartbeat and especially with Jill.

I definitely recommend Jill if you are considering getting your placenta encapsulated. I had several questions and she answered them quickly through email. I decided I absolutely wanted to hire her since I had pretty bad PPD with my first baby. I had my baby at Beach Cities Midwifery and Jill was able to pick my placenta up there not long after I gave birth. She was super quick with her process too and dropped the pills and a couple raw pieces off in a cute package the next day. She had very clear and easy to follow instructions on how to take them as well as a great recipe for a smoothie. The best part is that I didn’t even have baby blues this time around. I couldn’t ask for a better experience… Jill is the best in OC!

Deciding to encapsulate and placing my trust in Placenta OC and Jill was, hands down, the best decision I made for this pregnancy. My first pregnancy left me a wilted mess, quibbering and collapsed on the floor from tears and anxiety. My husband would come home to find me on the floor to the nursery uttering the words, «I can’t do this anymore…» Yes, he was a difficult reflux baby who didn’t stop crying, but I was also suffering from the baby blues and extreme anxiety in the form of self-​blame and helplessness.

SLEEP. These pills gave me the ability to fall asleep the instant baby sleeps. No more tossing and turning with anxiety-​ridden thoughts. No more of the nonsense that plagues moms in the beginnings… just pure unadulterated, much needed rejuvenating sleep. That, my friends, is enough reason to go ahead.
There are other benefits, including milk production and other benefits, but for me the calm factor and the sleep WINS it all.
I’ve recommended Jill to all my OC friends who are pregnant. If you are lucky enough to live around here, and be pregnant, don’t even think twice… just do it.

Living in the OC is sort of like living in a bizarre Twilight Zone of Republican Crunchiness. You can’t throw a rock without hitting someone who wants Obama burned at the stake. But if you bust out a formula bottle to feed your kid at the park, you best believe every mom will chase you home carrying their lanterns and pitchforks.
This being said, there seems to be a funny vein of crunchy mom options now available for all mamas, «Rice Crispy» to «Granola», alike. One of these is Placenta Encapsulation.
Being the GMO-​eating crispy variety myself, I was a bit skeptical. I knew there were benefits. But also, eeek.
That’s when I was referred to Jill and we had a 30-​minute chat. I got the rundown on the process, the benefits, the cost. She demystified all of it and was mindful and sensitive about my questions and concerns. I was hopeful. Being a first-​time mom who had to go back to work when her kid was 11 weeks, I couldn’t risk having crying fits in the boardroom. That’s not how you sign new contracts (despite it being a great negotiating strategy. Seriously. Try it.).
Here’s the skinny for non-​believers and dread-​wearers:
–The process is quick. Post-​birth, Jill picks up the goods and 2 days later she drops off the capsules in a cute gift bag with easy-​to-​follow instructions.
–It’s not really icky at all: The capsules look like what you would buy at GNC.
–Totally affordable. Much less expensive than therapy or the cost of fixing the mommy-​shaped hole in the wall you may create after your hubby brings home the wrong kind of Chardonnay.
— They work. Period. My hubby grew up eating Cheetos and drinking Mountain Dew. I had to have him Facetime with Jill to get him on board with the idea, alone. 6 days postpartum, he would anxiously ask me if I «had remembered to take my pills» (Subtext: Please take your pills, damnit.). If I hadn’t I would throw a lamp at his head. If I had, I would just kiss his face and glide away, like a Beauty Queen from Louisiana.
All in all, a long way of saying: Do this, because it works. Do it if you don’t believe, do it if you do. Just do it. You can thank me (and Jill, I GUESS) later.

I had a great experience with Jill and Placenta OC. I hired her solely based on her website and couldn’t be happier. She was very knowledgeable on placenta encapsulation and responded quickly to all emails. I appreciated the step by step instructions on the process of encapsulating your placenta, as well as whose duty (mine or hers) each step was. She had broad availability and was easily accessible; she even came to the hospital to drop off the completed pills, including the dried umbilical cord (which I originally didn’t want but am thankful to have now so I can plant it in my garden), in a cute little package.
