We used to live near this place and the food was horrible, I ordered ramen and it was packaged, but yesterday we decided to give this place another chance since it looks like it changed owner, it was true… new owner are Japanese and the food was a lot better… real ramen… hubby got hand roll and he said they were decent.

I went to Teri-Ya with the hubby and we were not very pleased. I have had better sushi just about anywhere else… I felt like they were using regular rice instead of sushi rice… Customer Service was ok but the food was sad

I was on my lunch break and hoping for some cheap Chinese takeout, but alas, the Chinese place was gone… and Teri-ya took its place. I have to say, this is one of the nicer food court restaurants I’ve ever been to. Its décor was that of a traditional sit down restaurant, and the owners(who happen to be Korean) greeted me with the traditional Japanese welcome. Kind of weird if you ask me… but anyways, Teri-ya is very new and very clean. After the décor, the next thing I noticed was the menu. Oh my God, this was the most expensive take out place I have ever been to. $ 9.95 teriyaki chicken bowls! Travesty! I thought to myself, «This better be some damn good chicken.» So I ordered, waited about ten minutes, and left with a pretty hefty box wrapped in a white plastic bag. I was impressed, thinking there would be hella chicken in this box. I sat down, opened my long awaited lunch, and guess what I saw? Mountains and mountains of white rice… topped with a chicken breast. I was sorely disappointed. The rice was… well, rice… and the chicken was nothing to write home about. It was a little dry, and the sauce was just… meh. I finished my lunch very bitter… $ 10 poorer and with an unsatisfied palate. I’m normally not a take out person, and now I remember why… most take out usually sucks.
