History

Established in 2006.

Off The Bone BBQ Inc. is a family owned business founded by Eddie Brown Sr., in Forest Hill, TX. Mr. Brown started with a small barbecue pit and a tent to fight off the sun, and he never looked back. In September 2006, he opened a full service restaurant that offered a wide range of products: Ribs, Slice Beef, Chopped Beef, Smoked Chicken, Homemade Beef Sausage, Hot Links, Bologna, Salami, Pork Loin, Smoked Ham and Stuffed Baked Potatoes. For customers that want the full meal deal we have delicious homemade sides. It doesn’t stop there Mrs. Brown takes a special interest in heading up the dessert department. Peach Cobbler, Seven-​Up cake, Chocolate Cake, Buttermilk Pie, Pecan Pie and Brownies. From the Grand Opening to this day Off The Bone BBQ Inc.‘s customer base has grown tremendously and is still growing

Before Mr. Brown went into business for himself, he had been firing up the barbeque pit for 15 years. He mostly barbecued for family and himself, and a few friends. Everyone that sampled his mouth-​watering ribs and brisket was hooked– they couldn’t get enough.
