G & N Collectors Den

My boyfriend and his mother have been shopping here since he was a young boy. I am fortunate that they introduced me to this little shop about a year and a half ago. The prices are always reasonable, and management is extremely friendly and warming.
I assure you, if you take a peak inside, you will find at least one item that you can’t leave without. They have beautiful costume jewelry, real jewelry, paintings, books, and so much more! If you bring your young one in, they will most definitely find something that fascinates them. I remember being younger, and loving little figures. I wish I knew about this store when I was younger. I can not stress to you enough that you need to visit.
I have an item that I hold dear to my heart, a beautiful cow mobile. It is one of a kind — and everytime I look at it, I smile. I have a wonderful story behind it.

As a write up in Forest Hills Patch website wrote «G & N is a cute little antique shop on Metropolitan Boulevard that sells everything from books, kitchen equipment and framed pictures to costume jewelry and silverware. Visitors never know what treasures and bargains they might find at this store full of collectibles.» ~No author was listed so I could not give the credit to the writer, but it really says it all.
The quality of some of the items that pack the store, yet are displayed in a tasteful way is beyond bargain basement pricing. (Jewelry, statues, pictures, etc)
My entire home was furnished with Christmas decorations for under thirty dollars, which included stockings, statues, colorful Christmas balls and other hanging items.
The book selection will be of interest to most any reader, as there are biographies, classics, poems, short stories, romance, drama and much more.
Definitely worth a peek if you find yourself in the area.

Always a delight to visit. The proprietor is super nice and I’ve bought a few things here over the years.
I especially enjoy how he changes the window to go with the seasons. So you get vintage Easter decorations, vintage Halloween decorations and vintage
Christmas decorations depending on the time of year.
